The three ran through the house dogding the fire carefully. Once they were out, they continued to run to the portal. They ran through it.

The room shifted to the one Viola and Boris had left, still as gloomy and grey as it was when they left. As soon as they got in, Boris fell to the floor.

"Boris!!!" Viola shouted.

"I'm so sorry.... I could only give him a temporary heal...." Manae muttered, head bowedin apology and sorrow.

~Boris' POV

The light was blinding as he opened his eyes. He went to move his head, to gather his surroundings, but it hurt and e groaned in pain.

"You're up!!!" It was Viola, standing over the bed. "Are you feeling better?"

"I guess.... What happened? Where am I?" He asked. Boris went to look around again, but Viola raised her hands to stop him.

"You're in the infrmrary. Part of the roof caved and you saved me...." She said, tears in her eyes. "Don't ever scare me like that again. If it weren't for Manae, you wouldn't be alive."

Boris smiled, even though his cheek hurt where he'd been cut, but he didn't stop.
