XVII. Switch Part 2

This one took quite a while. Medyo nanghina kasi ako magsulat, I almost thought of not continuing the story. Pero ito na ang susunod na Chapter, enjoy guys! Tomorrow Will Be Kinder by Secret Sisters on the media box. Very lovely song! Bagay sa magkakaibigan dito sa chapter na ito. :)

***Red's POV*** 

"May contact lenses ka naman pala, bakit hindi na lang yan ang gamitin mo kesa lagi kang mukhang nerdy sa salamin mo?" Vince wore his eyeglasses and checked his reflection on the mirror. This Switch Theme's kinda hard. Paano naman ako magiging kagaya ng playboy na 'to? He fixed my hair and even chose my outfit. I think the aim of this Theme's to create a bond between roommates.

"Hindi naman kasi ako conscious sa itsura ko, kagaya mo, Vince. Mas gusto ko din ang glasses kesa sa contact lenses kasi mas komportable ako dun." 

"Kung ganyan na lang lagi ayos mo, Red, maraming girls ang siguradong mag-hahabol sa 'yo!"

"Wala akong panahon sa mga ganyan." I took my bag from my bed at tinignan kung kumpleto na ang mga gamit ko.

"Napaka-seryoso mo talaga! Enjoy high school! Kapag nag-college tayo, less fun na. This is the peak of our youth, man!" 

"I see that you're enjoying the years so much."

"Well, yes. Pero sa ngayon I have this one goal." Kinuha niya ang scarf niya mula sa aparador niya.

"Goal?" 

"Yup. The most challenging ever-- Princess Dawn Dominguez." He smirked at his reflection and I just stared at him. Seryoso talaga siya sa announcement na ginawa niya sa classroom?

"Si Dawn? Goodluck with that, Vince." I started to walk towards the door and opened it.

"Goodluck? Vincent Pineda doesn't need luck, my friend!" He tapped my shoulder and we went out of our room.

We were already in the Cafeteria at nakapila para kumuha ng pagkain. I was looking around and some students were really into this Switch thing. May ilan din namang pumansin sa amin ni Vince, saying it was refreshing to see him with glasses and me with the new hairdoo. 

"Those glasses are hot!" A girl told Vince sa pila sa counter. Vince could wear anything and he's still pleasing to the eyes. Not that I envy him or something, siguro proud lang ako sa kalokohan ng taong ito. He's using his looks to gain fans and I found that really funny. 

"You're still gorgeous kahit nakipag-switch ka dito kay Red." Sabi pa ng isang babae.

"And what do you exactly mean by that?" Don't get me wrong, I'm a gentleman. Pero hindi sa mga gaya ng mga taong ito. Low-brainer sluts.

"Hey, hey. Red, my friend, calm yourself down. I'm sure hindi naman yun ang ibig nilang sabihin." 

"Yeah, that's right! Actually, cute ka pala. You should throw your eye glasses and fix your hair like this." Tinapik ko ang kamay niya nang hawakan niya ang kwelyo ng damit ko. 

"The perks of being Vincent Pineda's best friend!" Umakbay si Vince sa akin at sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Umupo na kami sa isang table at nag-simulang kumain. We were halfway through nang dumating sila Miss Rachel at Dawn. Napalingon din dito si Vince at agad siyang pumunta sa counter para kausapin ang mga ito. 

The Switch worked for them, too. It's rare to see Miss Rachel wearing black. She looked simplier and plain, pero andun pa rin yung touch of fashion. Nasa personality na talaga niya yun. My eyes laid on her roommate. How would I put it? She's...cute? Wow.
