Cole watched the streets below as I monitored him and myself while we waited for our opportunity to strike the next deviant who had been terrorising the nearby neighbourhood with robbing humans, stealing from shops and harassing other humans and Detroit police force as well as cyberlife believed that me, who they believed were still a human and Cole could take him down, disable him and take him into the custody for more information of why he was doing this. Night was soon upon us as we watched the streets from the nightclub "Suspect found" whispered Cole beside me as I glanced over towards the other Android while he kept his eyes on the deviant "What should we do?" I asked him as he looked at me "your the boss" he answered before looking back at the deviant "I was asking for your advice!" I retorted before Cole walked over to the back of the roof "What are you doing Cole?" I hissed at him as he ran forward and dived off the roof and started to plummet towards the busy street below "God dammit Cole!" I hissed under my breath before running to the building across to see the deviant running towards the building that I was as Cole slid across cars as the Android tried to capture the deviant as I ran to the steps as the deviant came clambering up them and opened the metal door which I was hiding behind before I pushed it back and knocked over the deviant. I approached the deviant before he got up and tried to run again but I pursued him as he jumped from the building and onto the other building as I followed him, he stumbled slightly when getting up from his landing and by the time he had picked himself up, I landed on top of him and held him there until Cole came jumping over from the other building and landed safely next to me "thanks for chasing him for me" he said as he tried to pick the deviant up before the deviant Android spat at Cole
"Why are you uniting with the humans Rk900!" He shouted as Cole held the deviants arms together "It's none of your business" he replied plainly as sirens sounded from the streets below and in moments we were surrounded by Detroit police as they picked up the deviant and took him away leaving me and Cole alone on the roof. I sat down near the edge of the roof before Cole did the same "this view is beautiful" I said as Cole nudged closer to me "never mind that, Y/N your freezing" he told me as I looked over at my partner as he took off his white jacket and put it on me "that jacket has heater in the arms so you should warm up quickly" he instructed me as I frowned "why do you have heater in the arms of your jacket when you can't feel anything?" I asked him as he ignored me and placed his hands on my neck and started to press buttons before he sat forward and something clicked in my software.
Cold sensitivity: On
I instantly felt colder and drew Cole's jacket over me more "That Jacket has heaters in the arm for if I need to comfort a freezing human while waiting for authorities to arrive" he explained to me "That is one difference between you and Connor" I stated as the grey eyed Android looked on at the streets below "did you know that Connor just left the crime scene after dealing with the deviant" I started before Cole cut me off "Yes I know, even if the authorities were there, he saved a man from dying and a human girl from the clutches of a deviant with a gun" he said as he looked towards me "it was the first story I was ever told" he added before placing his hand on mine "did, your boyfriend ever take you on dates?" He asked out of no where "What-why- Yes of course he did!" I stuttered at the question "did he ever give you his jacket when you were cold?" He asked as I glanced at the ground "maybe when I was human" I answered as the Android brought his hand up to my face and made me look at him "apparently all good boyfriends give girls their jackets when they are cold" he explained before letting go of my face as I laughed slightly "Trying to be a good boyfriend now Cole" I teased as he hesitated "I'm just trying to make you happy y/n"
That line sent warnings towards me.
