Cole's PoV

I held Y/N away from me, she was strong but not as strong as she was before the bomb explosion "Y/N ask me this one question, what year is it?" I asked her as her face grew concerned "it's twenty eighteen, right?" She asked me getting worried as her grip loosened on my arms "no, your in the future it's twenty thirty eight" I spoke to her gently as she immediately lost colour to her face "I think you should lie down" I suggested as I felt her arms go limper "but what about Jason, I love him" she said, her e/c eyes beginning to look desperate "Jason, is alive, but he's married" I told her as softly as possible as I looked into her e/c eyes as tears began to appear "what happened?" She asked as I stood rigid "give me your arm" I told her as she shook her head "I am not giving you my arm" she reinforced as I sighed "but I can't feel heat, I don't feel tired, what's happened?" She asked me "turn around" I instructed her as she obeyed hesitatingly "close your eyes" I added "your not going to take advantage of me?" She asked as her voice quivered with fear "no, I would never do that" I assured her while I accessed the panel in the back of her neck and switched on all of the human emotions "it's freezing in here! What have you had the heating on" she said immediately as I took a step back "I don't know, I haven't adjusted it since last night" I informed her as she turned around "wheres our dog?" She asked me as she walked over to the thermometer and began to adjust it "the last I checked he was on your bed" I told her as a new message arrived "Y/N, we have a job to do" I told her as she looked at me concerned "just say I'm ill" she said as I blinked at her "I can't do that" I protested as she stepped towards me "if I designed androids right then you obey me! Not the other way round" she said raising her voice as I froze in the spot I was standing in "get Gavin to go with you" she added

I took a deep sigh before messaging Detective Reed "I am unsure that detective Reed approves of me" I explained to Y/N as she picked up the dogs lead "I don't care, your doing my job" she said as Chance came running into the room and Y/N placed his lead on
Reed message: fuck off why would I work with an Android
It was quiet for a moment before another message came through
Reed message: but if it's for her I'll do it
I smiled at his response and grabbed my white jacket and opened the door to go to the station.

Detective Reed and I stood on the edge of the premises
"did you bring coffee?" Gavin asked as I reached into the cup holder and pulled it out for him "many coworkers noted that you like coffee in the morning and starts if evening shirts" I reported as the detective grunted before taking a sip "Why is an Android doing a humans job" Reed commented as our eyes both diverted to a movement in the shadows of the building "did you pack the guns for a necessary assault?" He then asked after a moment of silence as I noted down what happened "indeed, I have armour as well" I reported as Gavin nodded his head "well then, let's find this bitch out" he answered before getting out of the car.
