A light-haired woman unlocked the key box on the barn doors and opened the egress for the abuser. Tessa turned the taser on with the help of one of the women, but she zapped the man into running into the barn by herself.

A loud, echoing roar was heard on the inside of the wooden cage. It was a sound that I recognized only because of all the movies I use to watch before the apocalypse. A bear. A bloody, zombi-fied bear.

How the hell did they get something like that in there? Did they sacrifice someone? Are they a cult?

"Carol." I spoke breathlessly into the air.

How the hell did they get that thing?! I looked up at Warren, her doing the same thing back to me. Her chocolate hues were worried and rushed looking. She was ready to go, but she was worried if we'd get out of here without seeing the bear again.

If we slipped up, that would be our fate; death by a zombie-bear. A damn undead bear. What happens when this camp goes down and that bear is somehow set free? We'll have another species of the undead to worry about.

Damn it.

Warren guided herself over to Addy, who seemed paralyzed at the scene as well but also relaxed by it. (Y/N) stayed by the naturally red-haired teenager, who was sent to her by Helen to try and get (Y/N) to stay here.

(Y/N) stayed with Carol to attempt to get something out of her about all of this.

"Addy? Hey. You alright?" Warren asked once she reached her destination.

It took only a minute for Addy to snap out of it, altogether.

"Yeah."

The two didn't have a moment to discuss anything, because Helen Barnard stepped into their conversation with a sweet granny look, but it also looked determined to get some blood on her hands.

She stepped in the conversation to Warren's dismay.

"Tessa said there are two sisters still out there. We could use your help to free them."

A heart couldn't beat before Addy's rushed answer, "Of course."

'What is this woman playing at?' Warren thought to herself, trying to figure out her gain from getting Addy.

'What do they want from us? From Addy? What makes her different from Cassandra, (Y/N), and I? Cassandra is hurt. That's a flaw they wouldn't want to keep.' Warren thought about the reasons why they wouldn't be trying to please her and (Y/N).

"Addy."

Addy looked over at Warren, confused for a moment why Warren sounded so wary, "You sure you're up to that?"

Addy's next facial expression was one with bewilderment from Warren's hesitation.

'These are other women that could help us one day! How could we not help them?' Addy wondered about Warren's empathy.

"Warren. Any of us could be those sisters. Would you really want (Y/N) out there with those kind of men?" The red-haired woman stood strongly against Warren's hesitation.

Much to Warren's dismay, again.

'We're not on the same side, but when someone needs help, isn't she usually all in?' Addy questioned Warren again.

Everyone knew that Warren had one weak spot at the moment: (Y/N) Thompson. Charlie was gone, but she had one more thing to truly protect in this world.

(Y/N). (Y/N) knew that she was a child figure to Warren, but she didn't realize Warren thought of her as her actual child. Not just something synthetic; something artificial. She and Mack were like her kids and she'd do anything for those kids.
