"One!"

Doc gathered what he could of 10K, going in the direction commanded by Warren. The two ducked and covered what they could of their heads and bodies, Doc being the only one with the smaller weapon compared to a Knight.

When the two got around the corner of the vehicle, at the same time, Addy, Mack and Warren fired back at the enemies to try and give the two a break from dodging fast paced bullets.

"Ah!" Addy hissed out as she turned around, falling on her butt.

She slammed her back against the vehicle's roof, holding her face. A scratch marked her high cheekbone as blood was smeared onto the pale cheek from where she attempt to cease the pain.

"Addy!" Mack shouted, holding his fire too so he could check on her health.

He wouldn't say that they were back together--and neither would Addy. They had a lot to work on with their own minds and with their minds combined. Not to mention, it was going to take a lot more than a day to earn back (Y/N).

Addy's breathing was heavy as she hissed out from the increasing pain from the hot bullet's scratch.

"Are you hit?" Warren asked, dropping back down to check on the red-haired woman as well.

No matter what, Warren still thought highly of the two. She didn't like how Mack left (Y/N) and how Addy chose someone else over their small family, but that's what Mack and Addy wanted/needed at the time.

They were being selfish, and sometimes, it's better to be like that in the apocalypse.

"Now I know what (Y/N) felt." Addy commented, holding her flesh with one hand as she leaned her head before straightening up, "I'm good, though. I'm good."

Addy's chest lifted high, nodding her head quickly to assure herself that everything was okay.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

My hands were bounded down by tight ropes across my wrists, ensuring I don't fight back anymore than what I had. My ankles were in the similar predicament, only because I kicked one of them where the sun shouldn't shine that much.

Their leader decided that since I had a little fight in me, it was best to bound my most vicious weapons. Blood was running down my forehead from where one of these Russian bastards had slammed it against a truck's window outside of the hotel.

I'm so headstrong that I actually broke the thick glass. Warren would've been proud of this.

"My znayem, chto vy byli s nim! Teper', gde Merfi? (We know you were with him. Now, where is The Murphy?!)"

"Speak English!" I shouted back at him, knowing if he knew English he would've spoken in the language already.

If I knew Russian, I would've spoken in it already too!

"Perestan' igrat' v igry s nami, myshka! My znayem, chto ty yego zdes' otsledil! (Quit playing games with us, little mouse! We know you tracked him here!)" He shouted back, moving to stand in front of me.

I arched my neck backwards, growing even more tired of this bullshit. I barely know Spanish, and that's because I had to pass the language.

I wasn't even doing anything to these people, not even looking for trouble--but when you look for Murphy, you are looking for trouble--, when someone grabbed me from behind.

I tried to headbutt their chin, or even their nose, when they grabbed the back of my head and forced it through a window. Beautiful people, am I right?

"I speak English and English only!" I shouted, shooting my head back up to glare at the young looking leader.

We glared at each other, our light (E/C) and dark green eyes showing a fire behind them. A black tight-fitting shirt with black cargo pants brought the whole 'I'm-About-To-Beat-The-Shit-Out-Of-You-Look' together.

A serious mafia face emphasized that he was about to get the lemon and knives out to use on me if I didn't start giving something to him. My ass was about to be grass if I didn't start learning Russian soon.

Four bangs went off downstairs, or maybe it was in the hallway. The leader of their little group snapped his head towards the shut and locked door, further increasing his glare. Great.

"YA ostanus' zdes' s mysh'yu. Prover'te eto. (I'll stay here with little mouse. Check it out.)" He ordered, his Adam's apple bobbing when he swallowed his saliva filling his mouth.

All three of his men left the room as soon as the fifth bang went off and the leader gave them a dirty look for not leaving sooner. Could be another set of hillbillies.

"Mack!"

I snapped my head towards the door once it echoed after a bang, knowing that voice and who said it. The echo was faint and barely audible, but I knew who it was. For the first time in months, I was actually pretty happy to hear that voice.

"MACK!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, praying he'd finally come to my rescue before the Russian used my own gun on me.

"Dostatochno!" The, at least, 20-year-old shouted over my voice as he stomped towards me.

He grabbed my bandaged forearms without even knowing I had stitches, but the pressure made me wince in pain. He doesn't have to grab them so tightly!

"Skazhi mne, myshonok! (Tell me, little mouse!)"

"MACK!" I screamed in the enemies face, knowing he'd have no clue what I was saying and who I was shouting for.

Unexpectedly, he leaned backwards and brought the back of his hand across my face. The force snapped my head to the right of me, hearing my neck pop and pain spread through the bone. I was completely stunned, to be honest.

Another shot was sounded off, but closer than the last time.

"YA khochu otvety! (I want answers!)."

Crashing noises sounded from behind the door, making my nerves go uneasy. Who's going to move faster? The Russian or my American brother? I said nothing, staring up at him in silence. Did 10K even make it to the others?

Is that how Mack and Addy got here?
