"L-Look at yo-you go."

My 'go' was breathless like an asthmatic without an inhaler, but I don't even think 10K heard my cheer. I slowed my run down to a fast jog, making sure to make better progress than just a normal jog.

10K can do this by himself; I'm sure he's taken down bigger opponents. I watched as 10K tackled Murphy, who was starting to get the hang on standing still without wobbling, to the ground in a hard tackle.

I physically winced at just watching someone else go down in such a harsh way. It doesn't matter right now, though; Murphy needs his ass beat but goddamn, I'd hate to be Murphy's lungs. 10K rolled off of him, quickly jumping to his feet like a cat.

Kitties always land on their feet, or get back on their feet. The raven-haired man started to untangle rope he had hooked to his pants for when something, or someone, caught his attention.

I slowed my pace further when I saw how worried 10K became. Without thinking twice, or trying to save Murphy, 10K threw his rope down. He turned to start running towards me, shouting my name for some reason.

Then, a saw a fucking missile, or maybe it was a grenade, zoom into the air and sound off so close to his body that I watched it fly into an air. Like he was literally nothing, his figure fell down without any cushion awaiting him.

I stopped dead in my tracks for only a second of shock, covering my mouth before running full speed towards the seen. We've got minutes before even more zombies come this way. Fuckity-fuck!

I watched worriedly from the distance as 10K's body bounced up once hitting the ground before resting fully in the dirt.

No, no! Murphy was already up and scrambling away, not even attempting to help 10K in any way. This only fueled me to go faster. Then, I watched as Cassandra stepped towards our fallen soldier with wild eyes.

"No!" I shouted, getting closer to them.

Was she going to hurt him for trying to tie Murphy up? When I got close enough to the two, I slid on my knees to get in between them.

Without thinking about it any more than I had to, I pulled my gun out to aim right at Cassandra's heart. I refuse to let anyone else get hurt, because of Murphy and/or Murphy's servants. She's not my Cassandra anymore.

"Go!" I barked, knowing I had my sights on a spot that could end her right here.

Cassandra didn't hiss at me or say anything like back at Stripper Z. If anything, she looked like our Cassandra for a single second that she stared down at 10K. She backed up, careful of the dead body behind her.

Once she thought she was clear from my aim, she turned around to run after Murphy's already retreating form. I dropped the weapon, turning around to look at my very first patient.

"10K?" I asked, hoping for a little response.

His eyes were wide open, shining those beautiful sapphire gems directly at me, but he seemed so far away. Head trauma, definitely.

"10K." I said his name again, placing my hand on his shoulder.

For the first time since I've known this man, I didn't like his silence and I didn't want it.

"Talk to me!" I shouted, not caring if I attracted even more attention our way.

I tapped his left shoulder, shaking him to at least make an effort at fixing. Then, his eyes just shut. Now, not only was he shutting me out mentally, he was doing it physically! Great!

"Are you suppose to do that?!" I shouted at myself and at him, even though I knew very well he wasn't going to answer me that easily.

Well, is he?! Blood began to leak from the top of his head, running down his forward and beside his eyelid. I tried to wipe off the stain with my covered palm, but it was no use. The liquid just kept flowing out.

Quickly, I ripped the button-up from my body and covered up his head.

"I need to find Doc, 10K." I spoke out loud.

They say when a person is in a coma, if you talk to them it raises the chances of them waking up and I really need him to wake up. I looked around us, trying to find anything medical, or even Doc himself.

There were strangers running around, who noticed us but didn't do anything about our presence. Not yet, anyway.

"Okay, okay."

I took a deep inhale, keeping my hand on 10K's head to apply pressure. I need to get moving; this bleeding doesn't look like it's going to stop. Carefully, I rolled 10K on his back, being cautious of his already wounded head.

I covered his face with my shirt, making sure to wrap the fabric around his forehead. I pulled some of the shirt over his face, making it seem like a religious thing.

"People will see the explosion and think you were the one in the vehicle, or the unlucky soul next to it."

I looked directly at 10K's covered form as he slept, panicking even more at what needed to be done. What could I do for him? I have no way. I have no knowledge of this. I need to find Doc, or maybe even a book that says what to do for concussions.

If I can find one of the two, I can help save him. To stay here, would draw attention to me and if I get attention, then I'll be dead. I'm putting a target on both of our backs.

"I'll be right back."

I leaned up to the top of my knees, lifting up the shirt one more time to wipe the blood from his forehead.

"Don't get bit, don't get shot, and remember the rules."

He may be asleep but this is helping me more than what he'll ever know. Whether the statement about talking to comatose people is true or not, I have no way of figuring out but, hey, someone had to be listening to my little plan.

I covered his head back up, darting off before I could second guess myself.

No One's P.O.V

White light against darkness was zooming in and out of focus in the eyes of the unconscious man. Then, everything switched into a bright light from the sun. His body was being dragged but there was no fight left in the semi-conscious victim.

His thoughts couldn't be processed properly, but he was now seeing men and women fight either against each other or with each other.
