Why did you choose to cover this song?
I first heard this song a year or two ago and my cousin asked if I thought I could play it. I didn't think I could but still got the sheet music and lo and behold, I could play it!
What does music mean to you?
Music can be a personalized way to express yourself. Even covering a song can be very personal because there is a story behind that song for you. And then when you take the time to learn it, you gain more experiences that no one but yourself can give you. And you'll remember these things every time you hear the song.
What do you love about performing?
Nearly everyone in my family can play an instrument or two so the best times are when we go and support each other at concerts and recitals. I love being able to accomplish something hard and then be able to share it with other people and I love it when other people can share their hard work with me!
Who/what are your major artistic influences?
Piano Guys! I love the Piano Guys! They're so amazing because they can take a classic piece and a modern piece and create something gorgeous!
