What inspired you to write this piece?
I'm not sure exactly where I got the inspiration for this piece. I recorded a voice memo of the chorus a few years ago and just started actually working on the song when I heard of this year's contest. I had lots of fun with it! The main theme of the song is seeing things from another perspective, even if it feels like they don't even see the grass as green.
What does music mean to you?
Oh, just the generic stuff; it's quite influential and a great way to express one's self. It's a medium of art, really, one that can be enjoyed by anyone.
What do you love about performing?
I love sharing my songs with others to inspire them and or make them think. I like letting my voice go for them to hear, even if it's in low quality videos like the one above.
Who/what are your major artistic influences?
My family and friends. I get a lot of my song ideas from them. I also am inspired to write songs like those by artists like twenty one pilots. I like having a message in the song.
