Why did you choose to cover this song?

This song talks about emotions that people are overwhelmed with and battle every day - myself included. Sadness and depression are emotions that are so overwhelming and difficult to deal with. I decided to cover this song because I feel that it not only more accurately describes my emotions but also gives me hope that I can overcome these emotions. Another reason why I decide to cover this song is because I really want to learn how to play the violin and the violin in this song is played beautifully.

What does music mean to you?

The beautiful thing about music is that we all understand it differently and it means very different things to us all. It can be very complicated and very simple. It can be very slow and very fast. I love music because it gives me a chance to express myself. I also love how when I don't understand what I'm going through or I can't understand it, music can explain it to me or at least console me. So in short music to me is a way of expressing myself that only I can understand.

What do you love about performing?

I have only performed a handful of times but the few times that I have, I would start off my performance very nervous but I would end my performance feeling very confident. What I really love about performing is the positive response that helps build my confidence.

Who/ what are your major artistic influences?

My music is mostly influenced by artists such as J Cole, Billie Eilish and Bazzi. I really like their music and their music helps me focus and concentrate and gives me ideas for music. Another influence would be landscapes. I love photography and looking at beautiful landscapes helps me calm down and think much better.
