What inspired you to write this piece?

When I go through a hard phase or am depressed, then all I want my family and friends is to console me with the gestures that can actually uplift my spirits. I wrote this song because there are a lot of people out there, including me who needs a hug to get them out of their bad days. Through this song, I am saying that just be there for me and "Bring Me To The Light."

What does music mean to you?

Music is an emotion for me. I never realised that it became a part of me up until now and I found myself embraced and engrossed in its magic. It's a miracle that it can do wonders to my mood. Whenever I think of music, I think of a mesmerising forest with the birds chirping and happiness. A total bliss and bless.

What do you love about performing?

Whenever I perform, I visualise myself feeling emotions and doing things written in the lyrics of the songs. And I love it the most.

Who/what are your major artistic influences?

My major artistic influences are Linkin Park and Taylor Swift. Linkin Park introduced me to the world of music whereas Taylor Swift taught me to be the part of it. It is because of Taylor, I have an aim of becoming a singer and speak my thoughts through the medium of music and songwriting.
