Why did you choose to cover this song?

I chose to cover this song because first of all, it's right in my range so I wouldn't be hurting myself to sing it. It was recently included in an original play, which was the first time I had heard it. The actor who sang the song had a beautiful voice, so I kind of got attached to the song and started listening to different covers, then decided to do my own, just without the instrumental in the background because my chromebook records crappy when it plays through the sound system and into the microphone.

What does music mean to you?

If we're being quite frank, then everything. Sometimes, I feel only music can keep me sane, and even though I'm not the most amazing singer out there, I know I'm still doing what I love. I'm lucky enough to have a somewhat decent voice!

What do you love about performing?

Where do I start with this one? Because I participate in a lot of musical theatre, there's a lot I can say about this question. I personally love the experience that leads up to performance, the countless hours of rehearsals, and just when it seems like the show's going to fall apart, everyone pulls it together for opening, which makes the energy level 10x more. It's fun to see all the "bloopers" The cast makes together, and my favorite quote is, "There are no friends in a cast. Only family." ~ Anonymous.

Who/what are your major artistic influences?

I would like to start with my multiple directors in theatre. None of them have Wattpad accounts as far as I know, but I still think they deserve to be recognized.A HUGE shoutout to Alan, Becky, Allison, Emily, Emily, Mrs. Phister and Mrs. Lammers! They have helped me so much with my musical and theatrical improvement, and they do it in the best and most constructive way possible!
