Today was the day of the full moon and we'd failed.

We'd still hadn't heard of Liz. Stiles had send her a message yesterday with some encrypted message to try to give her some idea's to get through the full moon. We could see that she'd opened it but she hadn't replied.

I'd given Oliver some tips with the shift and I honestly thought that he might make it this time. He still sucked at everything else though. When we'd practised fighting or just basic cardio, he gave up after a few minutes.

Emberly was an entire different case. She kept messing around and giggling all the time. Even Oliver got uncomfortable by it.

"She'll be fine." Stiles mumbled half directed to me, half to himself. "She's smart. She's most definitely come up with a plan."

We were waiting for Oliver and Emberly to turn. Peter bailed on us and Scott, Isaac and Allison were both looking for the killer, leaving me with Stiles and Lydia to watch them.

"She probably thought of a plan days ago." Lydia said to comfort both of us.

"Still... She shouldn't be there." I said and leaned against the wall.

"Well," Lydia began "We can't do anything about it for now. So don't-"

I shifted my gaze from Lydia to Emberly. Her heart was racing and her breathing was heavier than before.

"What's wrong?" Stiles asked while following my gaze.

"I think Emberly shifted." I said while slowly approaching her. We'd tied them down about an hour ago. Oliver was doing little exercised to stay in control ever since he was secured but Emberly was messing with him.

Emberly growled lowly when I approached and lashed out. The chains held her back and she growled annoyed.

"Yeah she shifted." Stiles commented dryly in the background.

"Hey Oliver, how are you holding up?" I asked him since he was looking down.

"I'm okay." he said and nodded.

I leaned back and sat in the seat in front of Oliver and just out of Emberly's reach. Countless of minutes passed. Emberly hadn't given up her fight and Oliver still hadn't shifted. Just when I thought Oliver might actually make it through the night without shifting, something happened.

I heard the ripping sound of Emberly's chains and she broke free with a pang. Everything went really fast from there. Everyone but Oliver jumped up. Lydia ran to Stiles while Stiles just lifted his bat for self defense. I quickly jumped forward and just before Emberly would've hit Oliver, pushed her away.

Emberly's gaze landed on me. Her yellow eyes narrowed slightly and she tried to slice me. I could feel the moon tugging, begging me to shift but I knew that it would just lead to trouble since I'd have a harder time controlling myself.

I quickly countered some punches and managed to push her away from the others. Just when I was about to attack Emberly, Oliver pounced my back. All the commotion had been too much for him to handle and he'd shifted.

Emberly didn't let this opportunity go to waste and lashed out at me. My shirt ripped open and I couldn't help but wince at the impact. She quickly pushed me aside and ran to Oliver.

Oliver, who was still bound by the chains, began to lash out at her and they quickly got into a fight.

I jumped up to stop them but I knew that I was very late.

I ripped Emberly away from Oliver. He had blood all over his shirt and on the side of his head. Even though you could see that he was dazed, he still tried to attack me. I managed to move away but Emberly used the time to sprint passed me and cut Oliver's throat.

Lydia screamed.
