Ch116 - Presents galore

"Are you kidding me?" I asked disbelieving to Lydia. "A new phone? You also bought my last phone!"

"Well yes but I don't see you buying a new one yourself anytime soon and I want to be able to text you." She said in a tone that suggested that it should be obvious.

"But this is expensive!" I said as I carefully placed it on the coffee table.

"Yes and it's yours so don't make it a waste of money and use it." She said and made sure to end the conversation there. "So who's next?"

"We'll go!" Allison said excitedly and grabbed one of the larger presents off the table. It was clearly home wrapped in a blue paper but it looked as if she'd put some effort into it. It dented in as she grabbed it.

"Scott and I decided to give one from the both of us." She said as she handed me it. Behind her I saw Scott grinning apologetically.

So she bought and wrapped it while he added his name.

I took the gift and teared the paper. Inside I found two nice looking shirts. The first one was black and had long sleeves that became grey at my lower arm. It had a round neck and would be long enough to cover my butt.

The second one was dark purple with a low cut round neck and no sleeves. This one was also long enough to cover my butt. Both of them didn't have any weird print on them, which I was grateful for.

"Thank you." I said happily to Allison and Scott.

Allison smiled broadly as I placed the shirts back on the table.

"Who next?" Lydia asked. Isaac and Stiles had a silent stare-off before agreeing on Isaac's present. He leaned forward and got the other large present. This one was wrapped in a red wrapper which looked professional enough for it to be done in the store. This one also dented in as he grabbed it and handed me it.

I opened it and saw a long black woolen coat. It was long enough to reach halfway my upper thigh and looked nice and warm.

"I saw that you didn't have any coats." Isaac explained.

This one wouldn't make any noise when you walk in it.

"Thank you. I like it." I said to him with a smile. Isaac smiled back relieved as Stiles basically bounced off the couch.

There were 4 presents left on the table. 2 tiny ones, 1 that looked suspiciously like a book and one larger one.

Stiles jumped up and handed me one of the tiny presents with an evil grin. Oh no.

The present was red and light. For a second I wanted to shake it to try to find out what was inside before I opened it but I decided to just go for it.

As soon as I'd teared just a bit of the paper my head spot up and glared at Stiles.

"You bought me condoms?"

I felt Derek freeze up behind me while Stiles began to laugh evilly. Allison began to blush while Lydia just grinned suggestively. I wasn't sure who's expression was worse. Isaac and Scott managed to keep a pretty straight face.

"I'm just making sure you're protected." He said while laughing.

What's worse? Get mad at him or play along?

"Well thanks Stiles, I'll be using them." I said with the most straight face I could muster. His face instantly dropped as he realized that his joke had failed, which made me laugh.

He grumbled something I couldn't hear over the music in the other room a and gave me an other present. This one was dark green and the last large one. I could hear plastic crumble as I got it from him. It felt soft enough to be clothing but I wasn't sure since it also felt a bit stiff.
