I stretch and sit up then look around me. I rub at my eyes then slowly open them again. My vision is blurry, hazy. There are clouds of mist in the air around my face with every breath I exhale.

I only feel the cold when I see that I am lying in snow covered ground. There is a large mountain behind me. I realise then that I am wearing a thin white dress. No wonder I am cold.

I am dreaming. I must be.

I stand up and walk around. Regardless of how far I walk I end up in the same spot, in front of the mountain. I kick at the snow and it rises around me like dandelions that have been blown.

There is a snapping twig behind me. It snaps with a loud echo that causes me to cover my ears. My movements are slow and exaggerated.

A fox bristles and shakes as if a cat would. I drop down in front of it, crossing my legs. I hold a hand out and the fox allows itself to be petted.

'Hey foxy...'

'Hello Naomi,' the fox says and I laugh.

'A talking fox...why not?'

'Why not?' the fox says 'you're dreaming harbinger.'

I nod my head.
