"Hame inhe immediately hospital mein shift karna hoga kyuki inka kaafi blood loss already ho chuka hai, isiliye jitni jaldi ho sake hame inhe khoon chadhana hoga!", doctor informed Haseena, as she came out of the room after temporarily dressing Karishma's wound.
"Theek hai aap karishma ko hospital shift karne ki taiyari kariye, aur jo bhi formalities hongi wo Fayad pura kar dega!", Haseena replied to doctor.
Soon Karishma was taken to hospital in ambulance accomplished by Fayad while Haseena remained at Villa, watching her leaving.
"Haseena....", Gauri Maa's voice broke Haseena's chains of thought.
"...aao andar chalte hai!", Gauri Maa further said softly patting her shoulders.

In the dark pitched room, Haseena was silently resting on the cushioned rocking chair, lost in nothingness.
A persistent knocking on her room's door shattered her tranquility, prompting her to lifelessly murmur, "Andar aajao!"
The sound of approaching footsteps submerged her in an unfamiliar gloom whose each passing moment was adding to her unbearable anguish.
"Kya kaha Fayad ne?", asked Haseena tightly gripping on the handle of the chair.
Gauri Ma started informing her, "Hosh nhi aaya hai ab tak use, bahut jyada khoon beh chuka tha, agar thori aur der ho jaati to shayad wo bach n....", but Haseena cut her off.
She murmured, "k... kuch nhi hoga... use!"
Understanding Haseena's state of mind, Gauri Ma fell silent, agreeing without words.
The room once again fell into a heavy silence. Gauri Ma turned her steps to leave but paused.
Before leaving, she asked in a deep voice, "Agar itna hi yakeen krti ho to phir uske paas kyu chali kyu nahi jaati?", and then she left.
Haseena didn't know what crossed Gauri Maa's mind but her words definitely struck the right place and it started an endless cycle of doubts within herself, which was consuming her!

AFTER A WEEK
"Aapko kya lagta hai, kya hua h indono ke beech?", Fayad asked in worry while holding a cup of tea.
"Kuch aisa jo shayad chahte hue bhi Haseena theek nhi kar pa rhi!", subtly replied Gauri Ma while observing Haseena in the distance, riding a horse in the cold morning.
Fayad informed, "Doctor ne kaha hai ki ek do din mein karishma ko discharge mil jayega, pr abhi wo apni duty join nhi kar skti hai, usme waqt lag jayega kuch!"
"Abhi wo yaha nhi hai tab itni bechain hai Haseena, jab wo uski aankhon ke saamne hogi tab bhagwan hi jaane kya hoga!", mumbled Gauri Ma with a tint of concern for Haseena.
"Ek hafte hogaye hai Karishma ko hospital gaye hue, pr Haseena Mam ek baar bhi use dekhne gayi hai... jabki karishma ne pure waqt unke jaan ki hifazat ki aur aakhiri waqt mein bhi unke naam ki goli khud pe le li bina kuch soche samjhe!", Fayad spoke out his heart.
Gauri Ma let out a deep sigh and said, "Ha janti hu... agar koi aur hota to shayad ab tak Haseena us insaan ko apne jaan ki keemat ke badle sar aankhon pr chadha chuki hoti...", (paused)
"Par shayad jinlogo ki jagah dil mein ho jaati hai... unke liye ham faisle dimaag se nhi le paate... dard ka hisaab bhi dil hi karta hai!"
"Aapke kehne ka matlab Haseena Mam naraz hai Karishma se kisi wajah se? Isiliye wo hospital nhi gayi?", Fayad inferred from her words.
