One of the most beneficial and valuable gifts we can give to ourselves in this life is allowing ourselves to be surprised!
It is okay, if life surprises you. It's a good thing.
But when this surprise is totally unexpected, it becomes a shock which leave you in the state of utter perplexity.
This trip undoubtedly has become the best precedent for Mystery, confusions, puzzles and what not. Each new moment comes with something totally unexpected which leaves me in bafflement. But this one is outrageously Shocking.
Jerry 'Bowed' to Me...!
But my sane query is:
Why?
Coming out of my bewildered trance, I asked him, "Jerry what are you doing?" while my brows scrunched deep.
"Ahem! Nothing Lun—Niera, you need more water?" he asked, his gaze was lower, not making eye contact.
Not at all.
I gave him the glass back with a small smile, "No, Thank you."
He gave me his small smile, while nodding.
"Okay, Miss. William—" Mr. Gerard started again.
"Sir Gerard I want to check my documents and now." I said sternly cutting him off.
I turned to look at him, though my mind was haze but the matter in front of me, I can't shake it off.
Now I won't listen or tolerate this, I want my documents back in my custody.
It was my biggest misstep to leave such valuable requisite to someone I knew for a day. My sanity said in regret.
