[You and Us]

Niera's POV

He left leaving me to answer the Majesty about the Majestic Creature.

Suddenly the stones arranged in the pavement beneath me gained so much attraction in my eyes.

"I'm waiting for an answer Miss. William." His husky tone penetrated my eardrums making my breath hitch in throat and mind struck in the web of haywire leaving me to complete blankness.

Why are you? Just put sand on this thought and move on! My subconscious remarked for which my logics gritted their teeth in chagrin.

"It's a miracle I met that night, the night of first adventure. The one that saved me." I smiled recalling the fragments of that night and the Majestic Creature.

"Miracle?" he spoke with a hint of amusement and astonishment blended in his tone.

I only nodded softly.

"What's impossible to happen in this world's perspective; happens and we face it, we name it Miracle. I have just encountered another face of Miracle, Mr. Valentine." I stated looking at the tall trees on the other side of the concrete road; the branches swaying softly in the twilight of moon. I glanced above us; the moon was bright, beautiful and serene, allowing the night to fall asleep in peace.

A miracle in the face of Majestic Creature, It'll help me, if I get myself in some problem.

"You believe so?" Mr. Valentine's voice penetrated my thoughts as I raised my eyes to meet his slightly amused ones. I furrowed my brows before realization kicked me. I shook my head at my smart mouth, my subconscious sat mute, not uttering a word.

"Yes, I believe so." I answered with utmost confidence; it was my instincts that leaped two further than my mind.

"Yes it will." He murmured in his mouth but I somehow caught it.

We walked in silence, the breeze cold kissing my bare arms, causing me to wrap my arms around my torso.

One step after the other we walked before I felt an uneasiness settling inside me with this quietness.

"Mr. Valentine!" I broke the silence taking his name.

"Yes." He answered in his rich tone. I felt a strange but warming comfort around him always.

"Thank you." I said drenching my demeanor in sincerity.

His pace came to an abrupt halt; he turned only to a certain acute angle in order to face me, raising his brow his silence query was brimming in his eyes.

Don't know why, I felt it didn't hold the question, 'for what reason' but it meant, 'why is it necessary?'

Not wanting to dwindle my sensibility in his eyes, I propelled to the reason behind my gratitude rain.
