~Cami POV~

Cami sat alone in the pews, nervously waiting for her friend to come. She looked at the blade in her hand, still contemplating what to do with it. If she stabbed Fiore with it, then her uncle would be saved but when Fiore inevitable came back, she'd be dead to her—literally or otherwise. She heard her enter and quickly hid the blade before shooting her a nervous smile and immediately shying away.

"Oh Cami, I'm so sorry" Fiore said as she sat down beside her and gave her a sympathetic look. Cami couldn't help but wish Fiore was being evil then, like Marcel had said she was, it would've made her decision a lot easier to make. "Where is he?"

"In the attic. Resting, praying." Cami said as she turned to face her. "He'll go crazy and die won't he? Just like Sean did. And I'll still be in this stupid fight with him because he lied to me about the witches and the vampires and Klaus and even you."

"Cami, I can understand why you hate Klaus, honestly. He's done some very despicable things in his time, even I have, so hate me too, but your uncle is a good man. And any lie he told you was just for your protection. He has a loyal heart, but more than that, he's your family. And this attack on Kieran should at least prove that they are the enemy." Fiore told her. It was then that Cami made her decision, it was clear what she had to do.

"You didn't read my mind" Cami said looking away from her with a loud sigh.

"You sound surprised." Fiore said narrowing her eyebrows suspiciously. "Should I have?"

"A witch gave this to me." Cami said as she pulled out the blade and presented it to the surprised Enigma.

"That's Papa Tunde's blade." Fiore said looking torn. The exact same way as Cami felt.

"A witch gave it to me." She said nodding. "Said it would cause untold torment, even to an original, even to an enigma. She also said, if I stuck it inside your heart, she'd heal Kieran."

"But you're rejecting the offer?" Fiore asked her in surprise.

"Maybe if I was more like Klaus, I would but, I'm not stupid. And if there's a war going on—I wanna be on the winning side." She placed the blade into Fiore's hand and felt the girl's mood even shoot through the roof with relief. She gave her a quick peck on the cheek and stood up, outstretching her hand to the blonde on the seat.

"Now let's see what we can do about saving your uncle, shall we?" Cami took Fiore's hand and smiled back at her.

"What's the plan?" She asked.

"Plan A I call Klaus; he tries to compel the hex away whilst I ask my dead father about how to remove a hex."

"Of course Klaus is involved" Cami said. She couldn't help but feel a little hurt that Fiore's first thought was to involve Klaus. "What's Plan B?"

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

~Klaus POV~

Klaus had arrived to the church at the request of Fiore to help save Kieran's hex. He was somewhat salty as it seemed like his wife was just standing around waiting for her father to show up and he had to do all the hard work. He sighed and bit into his palm, letting his blood drip down into a communion goblet when he received a very unhappy side eye from Kieran.

"You gotta be kidding me" Kieran said incredulously as Klaus continued to let his blood flow into the cup.

"A vampire is trying to reverse a witch's hex placed on you, and it's the cup you find sacrilegious?" Klaus asked, dumbfounded by Kieran's behaviour. He slit open the priest's palm with a roll of his eyes and placed it into the basin of holy water at the sacristy.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Cami asked him sceptically.

"Not in the slightest." Klaus said shrugging. "But I can't even attempt to compel him if the Good Father has vervain in his system. Thus we bleed him out"

"Can't Fiore compel people even if they have vervain?" Cami said watching the sink turn red as it filled with her uncle's blood.

"Yes but as you can see my wife is doing the Silas equivalent of a rain dance to ask for his help" He said with an exasperated sigh. He sometimes wished people would just accept his help and be done with it. "Between you and me, I'd really hope this works because every time Silas is involved in a plan someone ends up dead. That should do it." Klaus said as he handed the goblet with his blood to Kieran.

"That's it?" Cami asked unconvinced.

"Yes?" Klaus answered unsure of her behaviour. He didn't understand what she wanted, more fanfare? "Drink up now Kieran, it'll heal your wound."

Kieran reluctantly drank the blood and stared back at him blankly as he spoke. "All gone"

"Good, you've suffered enough." Klaus looked directly into his eyes and compelled him. "You will overcome what the witches did to you. You will resist the dark urges of this hex."

"How do I know if it worked? All I know is that the vervain is out, and I'm at the mercy of this murderous bastard. I bet you find that really funny, don't you, Cami? You little–" Klaus clamped his hand over Kieran's mouth and sighed disappointedly.

"I guess that's our answer" He told them. Fiore came up to the sacristy looking at them worriedly.

"Silas doesn't know that much about hexes but he's asking around the Other Side." She said scratching her head. "And Nik, the witches are very angry and plan to take it out on us. Hayley included."

"Forgive me if I'm more concerned about the life of my own family than Hayley's" Klaus said not understanding why Fiore was all of a sudden in Martin Luther King Jr. mode.

"Thing is, the rest of your family can't be killed, Hayley can. I need to go check on her. How did this pan out?" She asked looking at Kieran with concern.

"A complete flop." Klaus said shrugging.

"That can't be it!" Cami said panicking.

"No of course it isn't." Fiore assured her. "It's time for Plan B."

"What is this annoyingly ominous Plan B?" Cami said in frustration.

"It's time for me to find the witch who did this, and do what I do best." Klaus grinned before speeding out of the church. Tonight, he was going to spill blood. Besides he was always more of a Malcolm X fan.
