Chapter 7

Rose

I woke up surprisingly early.Dimitri wasn't even up yet.I looked over at the clock.7:45 p.m.I groaned silently.Why did i woke up so early? I rest my head on Dimitri's bare chest.I shut my eyes trying to sleep again but couldn't.I sighed in defeat.Dimitri's eyes slowly opens.

"Is it even 8 yet?" He stretched his hot naked body.

I laughed."No.. but almost."

He frowned."What are you doing up this early?"

I shrugged."I don't know."

My stomach grumbled.

"Maybe that's why." Dimitri chuckled.

"I'm starving." I pouted.

"I bet Mama's already up.Let me see if she already cooked breakfast or not." He kissed my cheek then got up.

"Okay.I'm just gonna go and take a shower for a little bit." I got up and i could feel Dimitri's eyes roaming all over my body.

I smirked playfully at him."See something you like Comrade?" I love saying that to him.

He walked over to me fast."Love actually." He kissed me hungrily.I bit his bottom lip then pulled away.He growled."You're such a tease."

"Same goes to you Comrade." I grinned."Now if you don't mind,i'm going to shower."

With that i left to the bathroom.

The shower was great.I felt so refresh.I couldn't help but reminisce about last night.After about 10 minutes i got out.

Dimitri was on the bed,shirtless,reading one of his cowboy books.

"You and your western obsessions." I chuckled.

"Admit it Roza,you love it when i go all western." He put down the book and went over to help me.I was having trouble putting on my bra and shirt since my injured shoulder still not fully healed and last night activity was not making it better."Mama's downstairs,cooking.You go ahead while i shower." He kissed me softly on the lips then left to go to shower.

When i went down,everyone was already up except for Christian and Adrian.

"Good morning Rose." Olena said then puts down a plate full of my favourite foods on it.

"Thank you Olena and you don't have to do this you know..i'm perfectly capable of taking my own food." I said while eating the black bread.

"Oh no,i don't mind." She said sincerely.I smiled gratefully at her.

After a while,Dimitri,Adrian and Christian came down.Dimitri sat beside me.

Adrian covered his eyes.

"What's up with you?" I asked him.

"You and Craddle-rober's auras are shining so bright- like brighter than usual that i think i'm going blind." He said dramatically.

"Yeah,you were so loud last night.You're the cause i didn't get much sleep." Christian added while eating.

"You know we have kids in this house." Karolina said.

I blushed.

Dimitri and Christian laughed."Never thought i'd saw the day the legendary Rosemarie Hathaway blushed." Christian smirked.I cringed at my full name.

"Shut it sparky or i'll kick your ass."

"Okay.Okay." Wow he actually gave in.

"Talking about the kids,where are they?" I asked.

"They- " Karolina was interrupted by Paul.

"Auntie Roza!" He squealed.He ran at me and hugged my legs.

"Hey kiddo," i ruffled his hair,he giggled."I missed you."

"I missed you too Aunt Roza.Why did you leave without saying goodbye? You're not gonna leave without saying goodbye again right?" He said.I couldn't help but stares at his eyes.They look so much like Dimitri.

"No." I laughed."Where's Zoya?"

"She's watching TV." Paul answered in his thick russian accent.His english has gotten better.

"Go to her." He nodded then left.

I saw Lissa and Dimitri staring at me with such awe.Then Dimitri's phone rang.

"Guardian Belikov's speaking." He said in his guardian voice.He went outside.I watched him talked on the phone through the window.

"What do you think it's about? Do you think it's from Court?" Lissa said from behind me.I turned to her.

"I don't know.Maybe.I hope things had gotten better." I said hopefully.

Dimitri came in with his guardian mask on.This can't be good.

"Queen Tatiana has been- killed by Strigoi," he bit his lip."And she had ordered for Vasilisa to take the throne."

Lissa's jaw fell opened and she quickly passed out.
