The mute list has started. Don't come for me as if I won't come back, I didn't update last Monday because I have a life outside of Wattpad and my birthday was on a SUNDAY, so I decided to celebrate last week, and let's not forget the 3 chapters I gave y'all the week before. I do apologize for the inconvenience, but life DOES go on outside of this orange app. I'm not mean at all, but don't think you will talk to me crazy in MY comments, in MY book, that YOU are choosing to read. If you don't like the speed of my updates, move around, you may exit left. The book will be finished in the near future, so you're welcomed to wait until then to finish reading. Your choice. It's not all of y'all, but it's enough of you, don't make me the bad guy, just chillat and be patient.

Now, for those of you who still rockin' with it, lets begin the chapter 😌.

I sat up in my bed and stretched my arms out, letting go of a well needed yawn. I looked over at the clock noticing that it was going on two o'clock in the afternoon. I never sleep this late but last night I was up packing forever, preparing to go on my private vacation to the Dominican Republic. This was a well needed trip because I needed my space and some time away from crazy Chicago.

My phone buzzed and I rolled my eyes knowing it was another message from Korie. He'd been blowing my phone up with calls and messages for the past few days and I've gladly ignored them. Don't try to hit me up after I bust your bubble, keep that fake shit.

There was a knock on my door and I immediately grabbed my gun that I'd recently bought from my nightstand.

"Who is it." I asked out of breath after the long journey down the steps.

"Twan!"

I opened the door and greeted him with a warm smiled.

"Damn sis, tuck the heat away. Ion want no smoke." He held his hands up in surrender.

I laughed and shook my head at his playful ways. Out of all the guys, he's the one that I've grown a very playful relationship with, it's like he's my blood brother, just as the rest of them.

"You know I gotta stay with the heat." I waved the gun.

"Hold up, don't get to waving that shit, ion know if that bitch on safety or not." He slowly took the gun away from me checking it.

"Whatever, what brings you these ways?" I walk to the kitchen and grab the bowl of grapes from the refrigerator.

"I came to check on my sis, and my niece." He smiled down at my protruding belly.

"And what makes you so sure it's a girl?"

"Because that's what we want, no hard headed niggas need to pop out of none of y'all." He laughed.

"I wouldn't mind having a boy though."

"When do you find out the gender?" He stole a grape from my bowl.

"Well, when I went to the doctor the other day, they said they could've told me the gender but I didn't allow them to for the simple fact that I wanted my baby's father to be there as well whenever I found out." I mindlessly rolled my eyes.

"Uh-oh, what that nigga did?"

I contemplated on telling him what happened, just because I didn't want to involve him in my drama. After a moment of thinking I decided to just tell him because he'd annoy me until I did anyway.
