Ok, so I know a lot of you are confused about what's going through Sophie's mind, as well as Daniel's mind. I'll be clearing up Daniel's situation this weekend when the chapter is due.

With Sophie- She was hurt after what Daniel said/did and that's why all of last week's updates, she was really short with Daniel and cold towards him. By now, she just wants to get over it. She's done being pissed at him. Deep down she really loves him (and is in love with him) so she can't be angry with him for too long. That's not to say that they'll go back to how they were (any time soon) but it's a step in the right direction. BUT that does not mean Daniel is forgiven! Oh, hell no!! He has to get down on his hands and knees and grovel big style

In the meantime, Sophie's still trying to find the 'new normal' between her and Daniel.

"I've been thinking."

"Of?"

"Shaving my beard off."

"Off?"

"Yes."

"As in, shave it all off? Clean shaven, you mean? Soft like a baby's bottom? Off?"

"All of the above."

"But, why?"

"It's just been something I'm thinking of, that's all."

"Is this something Carla's put you up to?"

"Ok, first of all, her name is Clara. Secondly, it was my idea."

"Well, first of all, I don't care to learn her name. Secondly, your ideas are terrible. You shouldn't be allowed to have ideas."

"It's not that bad an idea."

"It's not a great idea, either."

"So, you're against me shaving my beard off?"

"Is the sky blue?"

"Well, right now it's kinda inky blue."

"Still blue, isn't it?"

"For another thirty minutes or so, and then it'd be black."

"Really, you're going to argue this with me?"

"I'm trained to not back down in a fight."

"Ah, yes. The lawyer in you. Ok, what about- is the Pope a Catholic?"

"In that case, yes, he is."

"Well, there's your answer."

"I forgot what the question was."

"Don't shave, Daniel. You're not nearly as... keep the beard."

"I'm not nearly as what?"

"Did you know octopuses have three hearts?"

"Octopuses? Isn't it octopi?"

"Nope."

"But it's Latin."

"The word 'octopus' is actually Greek in origin, therefore the plural should technically be 'octopodes.' However, the Anglicized plural is octopuses."

"Huh. Interesting."

"The plural explanation or the fact that octopuses have three hearts?"

"Both."

"I'm full of facts."
