The day after pyramid, we get to the studio, get off the car, and start our way inside.
"Why are there so many people by the entrance?" Maddie asks as we keep on walking.
"What do you mean?" Mommy asks as she holds my hand.
"Holly and Kelly are there." Maddie answers.
"And Jill." Kenzie adds.
We enter and notice a bench. It said 'To Abby. With love, Jill and Kendall'. Maddie rolls her eyes and goes to the Dancer's Den. Kenzie runs to Studio C and I walk up to Dance Jail.
"Melie." Klara follows me, "Miss Gia wants us in Studio B to learn a duet for the competition."
"Cool!" I exclaim and we both run down to Studio B.
There, we learn our duet and go over it a couple times. After going over it one last time, we're both dismissed and we go back to the Dancer's Den. I go buy a fruit punch juice from the vending machine and start taking sips of it as Brooke, Nia, and Kendall tell Klara and I what the group dance is about. Turned out it's the same off-show dance '007', but with a few changes and with Brooke and Kendall instead of Kennedy.
"Are you gonna go do your solo and be fabulous, and you're gonna do your solo and be fabulous, and do the trio and group and screw it up? No!"
"And she's yelling again." Nia says.
"She's in a bad mood today." Kendall adds.
After the trio rehearsal, Miss Abby was a nightmare.
•Two Days To Competition•
"You need to have sassy facials." Gia tells us as we practice our duet, "You just look like two sweet little girls in a lyrical dance, this is jazz."
After the rehearsal, we go watch the older girls practice, and they actually have gun props. They look cool, but scary. Wish I could dance with them.
•Competition Day•
We all enter the competition place and I had my team jacket and my fluffy pink boots. We all go to the dressing room and I change into my duet costume. It's an off-show dance, so we don't have to worry about performing it twice.

"Next up in the mini duo/trio category, 'Wannabe'" The Announcer says and the two of us go onstage.

After the duet, we decided to go back to the dressing room to hang out.
"Who do you think is better?" Klara asks.
"Who?" I look at her confused.
"Maddie or Chloe?"
"I think they're both great dancers." I tell her with a smile.
"Me too." Klara tells me, "Will we someday dance just like them?"
"Of course." I say, "When we're their age."
"Maddie's nine, right? And Chloe's ten."
"Yup, in a couple years, Klar."
"In a couple years."
~~~ Chloe was second in her category, Maddie was first in hers. Nick's, Auriel's, Katherine's, and Payton's were all first. Brooke's and Katherine's duet was second. Brittany's and Maddie's duet was first.
"In third place is number 57, 'Wake Up'."
"Second place. Number 29, 'Lucky'."
"In first place, number 16, 'Wannabe'."
Klara goes receive our award and I high-five her as soon as she sits down.
