A Not So Secret Admirer

Gracies POV (15 Years Old)

"I'm leaving" I announced as I popped my head in to the kitchen with my backpack in hand,

"Are you sure you don't want a lift?" Jay asked "I'm leaving in a minute anyway" he offered but I shook my head,

"No thanks, Luke is meeting me on the corner" I informed and I saw Jay stifle an eye roll,

"What a gentleman" he said sarcastically "you know if he had any manners he's pick you up from the door" he informed and I rolled my eyes,

"Well maybe he would feel more welcome if you didn't stare him down every time you see him" I retorted "bye Jay" I left before he could reply.

I walked down the street and a smile spread across my face when I saw my boyfriend stood waiting for me on the corner,

"Hey" I greeted and he looked up at me with his famous grin,

"Hey, you look beautiful" he greeted and I scoffed slightly,

"Luke, I'm wearing leggings and a sweatshirt" I informed him and he shrugged casually,

"You'd look beautiful in a trash bag" he informed and I shook my head,

"I'm already your girlfriend Luke you don't have to charm me" I said sarcastically and he laughed. We walked hand in hand through Chicago until we eventually made it to school "urgh, I really don't have the energy for this today" I groaned "can't we just skip?" I suggested not really meaning it,

"What? And give your brothers another excuse to hate me?" He asked and I sighed,

"Yeah I suppose you're right" I defeated "why do you have to be such a good influence?" I asked and he laughed,

"Cmon" he urged as I dragged behind him "I'll walk you to your first class" he offered as we walked in to the building and down the corridors until we reached my English class "I'll see you at lunch?" He asked and I nodded before giving him a quick kiss,

"See you then" I confirmed before entering the classroom and sitting down at my desk,

"Hey Halstead" Alex greeted me from the desk behind me "what are you still doing with that sissy? You could be with a real man" he said with a wink causing me to roll my eyes in response,

"Oh what, like you?" I asked sarcastically "I think I'd rather gouge my own eyes out with a spoon" I stated and his gaze hardened slightly,

"You don't mean that" he retorted,

"Oh, but I do" I said with a smirk and he slumped back in to his chair,

"We'll change that" he muttered causing me to roll my eyes once again,

"Right class no more talking we've got work to do" Mrs Karen announced as she walked in to the classroom.

The morning went by far to slowly before eventually the bell rang to signal lunch. I grabbed my backpack and followed everyone out of the classroom,

"Hey Halstead" I heard Alex shout down the hall but I just ignored him and continued on my way to the cafeteria "Halstead I know you can hear me" he shouted again and I rolled my eyes before coming to a stop,

"What do you want Alex?" I asked annoyed and he smirked,

"You're gonna have lunch with me" he informed and I frowned,

"Erm...I don't think so" I said obviously before turning to walk in the opposite direction but stopping when I felt a hand grab my arm tightly "get the hell off of me" I demanded but his grip only tightened causing me to wince slightly,
