Fathers Day

Gracies POV (4 Years Old)

I was sat in the break room aimlessly kicked my legs back and forth when Hailey and Kim walked in to the room,

"Hey sweetie pie" Kim greeted,

"Hey" I replied glumly,

"What's the matter?" Hailey asked in concern,

"Is today fathers day?" I asked apprehensively,

"It is" Kim nodded and tears instantly poured from my eyes,

"I don't have anything to give to Will and Jay" I sobbed and Hailey instantly picked me up and sat me down on her knee,

"That's ok sweetie" Kim comforted "I'm sure neither of them where expecting anything" she added,

"But they are both like my daddy and you're meant to give your daddy a present" I cried,

"Ok ok" Hailey soothed as she rocked me slightly and rubbed soothing circles on my back "I tell you what. Me and Kim where gonna take a long lunch anyway, how about we all go out and you can choose some nice things for them" she suggested and I looked up at her with teary eyes,

"Really?" I asked hopefully,

"Absolutely" Kim confirmed making me smile "so let's wipe those tears away and get to work" she said and I nodded,

"Why don't you go to the bathroom with Kim to get freshened up and I'll go tell Voight?" Hailey suggested and I climbed off her lap and took Kims outstretched hand.

"Quickly Hailey" I urged as I bounced up and down outside of Voight's office,

"I'm coming I'm coming" she laughed as she appeared from Voights office "let's go" she said as I grabbed bother her and Kims hands and pulled them down the stairs and out of the district.

Twenty minutes later we walked in to Target and we walked straight over to the gift section,

"Any ideas what you wanna get?" Kim asked as we began to scan all of the options,

"What about this?" I suggested as I held up a small teddybear with a t-shirt on that said 'My Superhero' in superman style writing,

"That's super cute" Kim smiled,

"I think they'd love that" Hailey nodded in agreement,

"Can I get one for Will and Jay?" I asked hopefully,

"Of course you can" Hailey nodded and I grabbed two and put them in the basket "ok, you can choose one more thing to go with it" Hailey told me and I nodded,

"Ooh" Kim exclaimed "you could get this and we could print out a nice picture to put in it?" She asked as she held up a plain photo frame,

"Can we?" I asked Hailey,

"I think that's a great idea" she agreed. Kim put both of the frames in to the basket along with the teddy bears, then we chose two cards and two gift bags to put them in. We then located the photo printers and Hailey and I went to do that whilst Kim checked out the rest of the stuff,

"Lets have a look" Hailey said as she connected her phone to the machine and the pictures appeared on the screen,

"I can't see" I complained and Hailey picked me up and put me on her hip so I had a better view of the screen,

"Better?" She asked and I nodded. I scrolled through the photos before selecting one of all three of us and letting Hailey print two out "perfect" she smiled as she grabbed the two pictures before grabbing my hand and walking over to Kim,
