Gracies POV (6 Years Old)
I held Wills hand as we walked down the street to a diner where we where meeting Jay, Hailey, Adam, Kevin and Kim.
"I still don't understand why you wouldn't let me bring my Nintendo" I grumbled for the thousandth time,
"Because we're going for dinner with friends Gracie" he replied "and anyway I already told you that you've had more than enough screen time today" he added making me huff,
"I don't think my brain is going to rot from having my game for a few extra minutes" I replied,
"Ey, don't be cheeky" he scolded "now drop it" he urged as we finally reached the restaurant where we where meeting the others. We easily spotted them sitting on a long table by the window and I let go of Wills hand before running over to them,
"Will's being mean to me" I stated once I reached Jays side,
"Hello to you too" he replied sarcastically,
"He wouldn't let me bring my switch" I accused,
"I assume by he you mean our brother" he corrected "and you don't need your switch" he added and I groaned,
"But it's gonna be boring" I whined,
"It's not gonna be boring" he replied,
"Why don't you come and sit round here Gracie" Kim suggested and moved to sit by her, after I gave both of my brothers angry glares.
"So, did you have a good day at school?" She asked me once I had sat down in between her and Kevin,
"It was fine I guess" I shrugged "we're going on a school trip to the museum next week" I added and she smiled,
"Nice" she commented "are you looking forward to it?" She asked I nodded silently with a sigh,
"What's up kid?" Kevin asked as he took a sip of his drink,
"Will wouldn't let me bring my Nintendo switch" I told him,
"Well if you had that then you wouldn't be able to enjoy all of our company now would you" he said with a smile making me raise an eyebrow,
"That was kinda the point" I replied flatly,
"Excuse me" Will said from his place across the table "don't be rude" he scolded,
"I'm bored" I complained,
"You've been here five minutes" he told me shaking his head,
"And?" I replied,
"I'm getting tired of this now Gracelyn" Will warned,
"Well it's your fault" I exclaimed "if you'd of let me bring my Nintendo then I wouldn't be bored" I stated,
"Gracelyn" Jay spoke from the other end of the table "c'mere" he instructed but I shook my head "now" he said firmly, but I continued to ignore him "don't make me come over there" he warned and I huffed angrily before standing up and walking over to my older brother.
"What?" I asked in an agitated tone,
"You better start changing that attitude before I change it for you" he said sternly "now you're not gonna sit there having a tantrum because you didn't get your own way" he stated.
"I'm not having a tantrum" I defended in a whiney tone,
"Well you're certainly not on your best behaviour" he retorted "now I want you to go sit back down and put a smile on your face but if I see you acting up me and you are going straight home" he warned "do you understand me?" He asked expectantly,
"Yes" I mumbled,
"Excuse me?" He prompted,
"Yes sir" I replied,
