Gracies POV (10 Years Old)

"Hey Jay, I've decided something" I announced as I walked in to the kitchen where Jay was stood making dinner,

"Oh yeah?" He quirked an eyebrow "and what is it you've decided?" He asked curiously,

"I've decided that I'm to old to get spankings anymore" I announced and Jay looked at me in amusement,

"Excuse me?" He smirked,

"I'm to old to get spankings" I repeated and he leant on the kitchen island to give me his full attention,

"And how did you come to that decision?" He asked with amusement lacing through his tone,

"I'm ten now Jay" I reminded "that's to old to be getting my butt smacked" I stated adamantly "you did it the other day and Kelly saw. It's embarrassing" I stated and Jay scoffed,

"And why did I do that?" He asked expectantly,

"Because I had attitude" I sighed,

"Exactly" he confirmed matter of factly "and did I or did I not warn you more than once to drop the attitude before I smacked your butt?" He asked,

"You did" I defeated "but it's still not fair" I stated,

"What's not fair?" Will asked as he walked in to the room having just had a shower,

"Gracies decided she's to old to get spankings" Jay informed and Will smirked slightly. What's so funny?

"Really" Will replied with a slight chuckle,

"Miss Harries says that everyone has a right to be heard and people should listen respectfully" I stated,

"That's true" Will agreed "but I think we're gonna have to respectfully decline your decision, right Jay?" He turned to our other brother who nodded,

"Absolutely, you decision has officially been declined" he agreed,

"That's so unfair" I complained "I'm not a little kid anymore" I stated firmly,

"Well if you didn't behave like a little kid then you wouldn't keep finding yourself getting spanked, would you?" Jay said simply,

"Stop" I whined and he raised an eyebrow,

"I rest my case" he shrugged and I huffed in annoyance,

"If you behave the way you should then it wouldn't happen anyway Gracie" Will added "we let a lot of things slide but if your out of line then you're gonna get you butt spanked. It's as simple as that" he stated as I sat down at the kitchen table and waited for my dinner to be put in front of me.

"You're lucky it's just us you're dealing with and not dad. He wouldn't let you get away with nearly as much stuff as we do" Jay told me. Yeesh. He must've been a hard ass.

"Can you at least not do it when people can see" I bargained,

"Can you at least not be a brat when people can see" Will challenged,

"I'm not a brat" I stated angrily as I slammed my fist down on to the table,

"Wow. You know what the irony of this is Gracie?" Jay asked "take a guess where this conversation's headed if don't you reign it in?" He asked as he put a plate in front of me. I huffed with a scowl,

"A spanking?" I asked already knowing the answer,

"Ding ding ding we have a winner" He replied and I rolled my eyes.

"Can we please just drop this now?" Will asked and I began to eat in silence. I guess I'm not winning this one.
