Gracies POV (15 Years Old)

"Hey Will" I greeted my eldest brother as I walked in to our apartment "where's Jay? He promised he would be home in enough time" I stressed,

"Don't panic" Will soothed "he'll be here, he's just a little held up at work" he assured,

"He better be" I sighed "I'm gonna go take a shower" I said before disappearing off in to the bathroom.

As I washed my hair I could feel the nerves begin to whirl around in my stomach. C'mon Gracie. You can do this. It's opening night and we're more than ready. We've got three months of rehearsals under our belts and we're ready for an audience. But am I ready for my brothers to be in that audience...yes? Yes of course I am! I forced myself to step out of my mind and washed the conditioner out of my hair before turning the shower off and stepping out to dry myself. I wrapped my hair in a towel and put on my purple fluffy onesie. Childish I know, but it's comfy! I walked out of the bathroom and crossed over to the kitchen where I boiled the kettle and grabbed one of my honey and lemon tea bags to help my voice,

"How're you feeling?" Will asked as he pulled me in to his side and I wrapped my arms around his waist,

"Nervous" I admitted and he rubber my arm comfortingly,

"That's completely natural" he assured "but you've done this tons of times before, you know what you're doing. As soon as you step out on to that stage all of them nerves will go away" he promised and I looked up at him as he gave me a kiss on the forehead. The switch on the side of the kettle flicked up signalling that it had boiled and I made a move to pour the water in to my mug "I'll do it" Will insisted "you don't want to burn yourself" he said causing me to roll my eyes slightly,

"Thanks" I said as I took the now full mug from him and went to sit on the sofa. I placed my mug down on the coffee table and removed the towel from my head before rubbing the excess water out of my hair and leaving it to dry naturally "you've definitely printed off your tickets right?" I asked for the thousandth time,

"Yes Gracie I've definitely got them" he assured shaking his head lightly "now no more questions" he said insistently.

Once I had finished my tea I washed up my mug in the sink and went to my bedroom to finish packing my makeup bag and other things that I would need with me. My hair had pretty much dried naturally but I blasted it with the hairdryer before straightening it. My ears perked up when I heard the front door open and the familiar sound of military grade boots walk to the kitchen,

"Jay?" I questioned hoping that I was right,

"Yeah it's me" he confirmed and I turned my straighteners off before walking in to the kitchen where the delightful smell of Chinese food filled my nostrils,

"Ohh, my favourite" I exclaimed as Will began to take the boxes of food out of the bag,

"Well we couldn't send you on stage hungry now could we?" Jay asked and I hugged him,

"Thank you" I said and we all sat down to eat our food.

Once we had finished eating I rushed off to my room to change in to some leggings and a sweatshirt just as my phone dinged with a text from Jane saying that she and her mom where outside. I grabbed my bag and phone before leaving my bedroom,

"Okay I'm leaving, Jane's outside" I announced and I quickly kissed both of my brothers on the cheek,

"I'll walk you downstairs" Jay said and we both left the apartment and began to walk downstairs,

"You remember what time it starts right?" I quizzed and Jay nodded assuringly,

"Seven thirty but we'll be there for seven like you said" he informed and I let out a nervous sigh "hey" Jay stopped "you're gonna be amazing" he promised as he gave me a comforting kiss on the forehead,
