Barbeque Weekend

Last weekend before they start practice. Jin and I decided to have a barbeque party again.

I prepared all the food and started fixing the pool area. We wanted to start a bit earlier than we did the last time.

Jin made sure that all the meat were prepared for grilling. He reminded me that the grill was off limits for me because of what happened the last time.

Namjoon and Hobi started bringing out the cooler and drinks while Jungkook and Yoongi were preparing appetizers and some snacks. Jimin and Tae were of course, already goofing around playing with water guns.

Babe. Can you help me with something? Jin asked as he held his hand out. I grabbed his hand and we went to the room. I glanced at Yoongi and he was clenching his jaw seeing that I was holding hands with Jin.

Jin was rummaging through his luggage and grabbed a small box. Here, this is for you. He said handing me the box.

What is this?

Open it.

I opened the box and it was a bracelet. He removed it from the box and placed it on my wrist.

I had it engraved with your name. And I got the same one as well. Showing his bracelet. This way it reminds you that I will always be here for you.

I was touched. Jin has always been very thoughtful. He never misses birthdays, events and even our anniversary as best friends.

Thank you. This is great. I said, giving him a kiss.

We headed back out and continued preparing for the party. He headed out to the grilling area while I went to the kitchen to check on Kookie and Yoongi.

They had so much food made already. There were various korean snacks and also western ones. I was amazed with how they made the Cheeseboard.

Wow guys. This is amazing. I said as I ate some of the chopped cheese and grapes.

Yoongi hyung said you would like that. He prepared that especially for you. Kookie said.

Thanks Sweetie. I said walked towards him and almost gave him a kiss, forgetting that Kookie was there. I gave him a hug instead. Whew. That was close.

Anything I could do to help? I asked and they both shook their heads.

I headed back to the room to change into my swimwear.

I chose to wear a one piece suit with short since I know Jin would kill me if I wore a bikini. He hates when girls show a lot of skin.

I spritz a little perfume and headed outside to the pool area.

Jin was already grilling food while Namjoon was reading a book on the swing. Tae, Jimin and Hobi were already bouncing around the pool.

I sat beside Namjoon. What are you reading? I asked.

Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. He said as he showed me the book cover.

I've seen the movie but haven't read that yet. Might as well get into reading soon. You guys will be leaving me all alone here.

Namjoon laughed and put down his book. You will never be alone, Y/N. We are always here for you, you know. You are like a sister to us. Well, most of us.

I gave him a glance. What did he mean by that?

Don't get me wrong, all of us love you here. But there may be some of them who might love you more. He explained as he went back to reading his book.
