Confession

I blushed hearing Jin saying that I am beautiful.

He says it all the time but today, it hit me differently.

I looked at him as he was checking the pictures out.

We've taken alot here babe. Do you wanna go somewhere else? I asked.

He looked up the sky and shook his head.

I just want to lie here for a bit. It's calming. He said as he laid down the grass and closed his eyes.

I laid down beside him and held his hand. He squinted his eyes and looked at my direction. I laughed because he looked like he was 13 years old again.

Aish Seokjin. You looked exactly like that when we fell asleep at the park when we were 13. I chuckled.

We got into so much trouble that day. Our parents thought we go kidnapped and had the police looking for us.

He smirked as he remembered that day.

We had lots of fun, huh, Y/N?

I nodded. Yes. A lifetime of it.

He squeezed my hand real tight as he looked back up in the sky.

That's probably one of the reasons why I love you so much.

I love you too, Jinnie. I said, as I faced him.

He looked at me, giving me his sweet smile. Not that kind of love, babe.

I was puzzled and shot his a questioning look. He looked away and stared back to the sky.

Remember before you left for Uni and before I became a trainee you had a boyfriend, right? Joon Ghost. He chuckled.

I laughed out loud. Yes, I remember him. He actually ghosted me that's why Jin called him Joon Ghost.

What about him?

Well, I have to confess something. I was actually the reason why he ghosted you. He started explaining.

I immediately sat up. Why? Were you the reason why people were telling me he was beaten up?

He smirked as he sat down and nodded. Omg Seokjin. What did you do to him?

Well, I actually saw him with another girl at the park. Remember I texted you that day and you said you were waiting for him at the mall.

I nodded and bit my lip.

Well, he was actually out on a date with someone else. So, I got pissed off and punched him.

My eyes grew large. I remembered that after an hour, Jin picked me up at the mall and told me that I did not deserve to be stood up and he took me to the movies. That was actually one of the moments that I realized that he was the perfect man, probably the perfect man for me.

I smiled. Thank you babe. You really are my knight in shining armor. I said, kissing his cheek.

Now, it has got me thinking about what you did to my other exes. I laughed out loud.

He looked at me and gave me a sly smile while raising his eyebrows.

Omg Seokjin. Tell me what you did to them. I shouted as I jumped onto him making us both fall flat on the ground.

We were laughing like crazy and he began tickling me. We rolled on the ground and you could hear our laughter filling the air.

He stopped tickling me as he pinned me to the ground. He smiled as he stared at me. His face looked so angelic as the sun was shining through his hair. I couldn't help but smile back.

You are unfair. I was always nice to your girlfriends. I pouted.

Well, not really babe. You were actually the reason why they all left me. He said, pursing his lips.

Hey, not fair. I was always friendly with them.

He gave me a half smile. Yeah, that's right. But I had to break up with all of them...

Why'd you do that Kim Seokjin? The last one, JiYun, was great. I exclaimed. I liked her a lot.

He looked at me and tried to mouth something. He gulped and said, Well, they were not you.

***Jin's POV***

There. I said it. I admitted that I was in love with her.

I was looking for a reaction but he face was just blank. She was staring at me but her expression did not change.

Hey. Earth to Y/N???? I said, as I let go of her and snapped my finger.

She sat up and kept a straight face.

Sorry. Let's go. It's getting pretty late. She said, as she stood up.

I looked at her as she walked towards the car. I was stunned. I couldn't make out what she was thinking or feeling , for that matter.

I stood up and walked to the car, a bit bothered with the way she reacted.

I admit, this was not the best time to confess how I felt about her. I knew she was still hurting.

I knew that she still had feelings for Yoongi.

As she entered the car, she didn't even bother looking in my direction. She sat down and was just staring at her hands as if she was too afraid to speak.

I got in and started the car.

As my hand was about to release the handbrake, I felt her hand snaking into mine.

I looked up and saw her smile faintly. I opened my mouth to speak but before I could say anything, her lips pressed into mine. I couldn't help but close my eyes and respond.

My hand immediately went to the back of her head, pulling her towards me.

My heart was beating so fast, it was intense.

As she broke the kiss, she shifted back to her seat and wore her seatbelt.

Confused as I was with her actions, I didn't bother to talk. I just wanted to savour the moment.

We sat in silence during the drive home. I took some stolen glances at her as she was just staring outside that window through out the trip.

I turned off the engine as we got home. She was sitting still and was spaced out. I went down and tried to be a gentleman as I opened her door and extended my hand to help her out.

Without any hesitation, she held my hand and we walked towards the house. She intertwined her fingers with mine and gave it a little squeeze.

I smiled.

I will wait. I will wait for the time that you are ready.
