Ashley's pov
Today is Monday and I'm dreading going to work today, how do I even face him after what we did yesterday, I decided to put my big girl pants on and go to work so I won't be late.
I got to my office and greeted Alicia.
Hy Alicia good morning, she replied
Is the boss in, no he hasn't come to work today I don't know what happened
Ohhh okay omg, hope is not because of me I thought,Ashley are you crazy why would he leave his business because of you, I'm sure he has done this things with a lot of girls, I thought bitterly.
I keep checking the elevator to see if he is going to show or not, I couldn't even concentrate on the task I was supposed to do, I felt so stupid even though he told me so many times this was a no string attached relationship and that no love should be involved.
I was so tempted to pick the phone and call him but I just decided against it.
That was how the day went by without him showing up to work and I'm now worried and I don't even know his house, I asked Alicia and she said his not picking her calls too
I felt really down all day and I closed up at work.
I got home and couldn't stop tossing and turning around on the bed till I fell asleep.
The sound of the alarm woke me up, I didn't sleep until late last night because I couldn't stop thinking about Damien, I'm sure I have dark circles
I got to work and noticed he didn't come in again today,
Alicia has this ever happened before, him not showing up to work for two days I asked
No this has never happened ever since I started working here,
now I'm so worried
But it understandable I heard his mum his at the hospital, that's all I know
Omg I gasped is sh-she -she okay, what happened to her, I wondered how she is feeling now
I also don't have any news apart from that just make sure you take care of his schedule and postpone his meeting.
I reply his mails, finished working on his files and I can't help but think about how he must be feeling now.
From the way he talked about his mum to me I know he loves her very much, I just pray she is okay
