I slept like a log. I don't think I slept so soundly before. I guess it was both physical and mentally exhausting.

He had been gentle, loving, tender, considerate - all the good adjectives I can think of.

We had been, new and unknowledgeable to this, but we took the next step together. I guess, now it truly makes me a woman, that I get to understand myself a little more.

I don't know how long we took. All I know was, after all it was over, I felt exhausted. Just like one has completed a marathon, all the adrenaline drained out and dry. We just laid there catching our breaths before he got up first to clean up.

Suddenly, we were shy all over again. Like it's the first time we saw each other naked bodies. I kept the blanket covering me all the time. And when he went into his bathroom, I quickly dashed to mine and then got dressed.

When we got back together on the bed, we were both blushing before we fell asleep.

I opened my eyes to see him staring at me.

"Good morning," he said softly to me.

"How long have you been staring at me?" I asked him.

He gently brushed a strand of hair away from my eye. "I didn't count."

"Did you sleep well?"

"Like a baby. You?"

"Like a log."

"Do you - feel any discomfort anywhere?" he asked softly, almost shyly.

I blushed. "Hmph.. don't think so.." But now that he mentioned it, I felt an aching sore down there, making me not daring to move. If I don't move, I don't feel it.

I don't think I'll get pregnant. I definitely hope not. Not in this improper manner. I've been brought up the traditional way. Marriage first then sex. But I've already refuted it. The last thing I need is a pregnancy before marriage.

"What time is your flight again?" he asked.

"Three." So I have to be at the airport latest by one. "What time is it now?"

"Seven plus. It's still early."

I'm surprised I woke up so early.

"Hmph.." I wonder what we can do until then..

He pulled me into a hug. "I just want to stay in bed with you like that until time."

I chuckled. "I don't mind. But don't you have to be.. anywhere else?"

"I'm free until afternoon."

"Oh.." I just cuddled up to him. Erm, did I just - felt something hard and poking..

"I'm going to miss you so much," he said in a teary voice.

Darn, I might start crying.

"Is there anything else you want to do before you leave?"

I shook my head. Nothing. I just want to stay like that forever.

We eventually still got up from the bed.

And he cooked a final meal for me - brunch.

"Can I have a souvenir?" I asked him. I suddenly thought of it as we ate.

He raised an eyebrow. "What would you like?"

"Can I have one of your rings?"

"Ring?"

I nodded. "Then I'll feel like you are with me."

"Pick one. Whichever you like," he said. He led me to his wardrobe. He does have a whole range of rings. I'm an accessories person so that was the first thing I noticed when I stepped in here.
