Revealed
From the moment Lillian felt the twinge of pain in her heart, she knew that it was finally happening. She had been watching Jack wallow in his despair over the millennia, watched amused, in fact. And reveled in it, too.
Now all she felt was anger. She had cursed him because she knew no women, or man, could break his eternal bindings. But alas, someone had, or almost had. And now Lillian knew she needed to eliminate the thing that threatened her immortality and Jack’s pain.
