(Previously: Vecto defeats Botland series robots.)

Moments later, Vecto was walking down curved, dark hallways. His orb nestled neatly inside the Botland series robot's hollow chest. It was a bit odd controlling his new body, better than being inside Azmeck's robot, however. At least he had access to the building.

The interior of the barely lit building was rigid, with rows of robots behind glass walls as showcases. Vecto ignored the machines and came to a five-foot-tall door with the words, "Vic's Lab Room," both in English and Dinix.

Before he could knock, or break the door in, his bald-headed midget creator, Vic, opened the door.

"I see you are quite the persistent and stubborn one in soliciting my advice my derelict robot creation Vecto," Vic's high-pitched voice hastily said. "However I do not know the whereabouts of Zendora only that it is located in the innerverse and believed to be surrounded by black holes to prohibit its location from being discovered."

"I presume Azmeck called," Vecto said.

Vic laughed and looked down. A seat lifted from a portal in the ground, bringing Vic's three-foot-tall body to eye level. "As should you have because it would have saved you the trip but I was hoping you'd say I was psychic."

Vecto shook his head. "I apologize for wasting my time with you, Master Vic," Vecto stated as he turned to leave. "If you are unaware of how to get to Zendora, then I have no purpose in staying."

Vic honked his liftseat's horn to get Vecto's attention. "Alas there may be a way to find its location with my latest super-intellectual creation the Illuminous Orb."

Vecto stopped to glance back at Vic. It wouldn't hurt to ask his so called "super-intelligent" creation. "Lead the way," he demanded.

Vic led Vecto to a door boarded by valignium. Only through Vic's authority and coordinates could they teleport within. Inside were brilliant lights filling the massive globe. They rode a platform to the center of the spherical room. Hovering in the center were over fifty orbs layered together and working in tandem to produce intelligence far beyond any known system.

Vic smirked as he gazed up at his creation. "Imagine the unfathomable power of your Flummox Capacitor in that. If one can produce artificial intelligence at that caliber, what can a replica of multiple AIs within a cascaded system of Force Field Shield orbs accomplish?"

Vecto glanced down at Vic. "I get the idea. So how does it work?"

"You must place your hand on it and it will speak," Vic directed. "Huuk guas he uoot ehtue ua ak jeuou. ... don't you hear it? They sing to each other in my voice," Vic translated his Dinix phrase though it was unnecessary.

Vecto couldn't pick up any odd sound waves. He shook his head and complied, flexing the mechanical fingers of his hand and reaching out to the compilation of moving orbs. He touched it, but briefly. His shields flickered from the massive energy excreted from them.

"Where ... is ... planet Zendora?" Vecto asked the machine.

(Will Vecto finally get the answer to where Zendora is? Find out more in the next installment of Vecto: Voyage!)
