(Previously: Vecto arrives on Cubix and watches a potential thief be captured by a substance that the city is made of.)

Hours passed and Vecto was at the outskirts of the city. Shadows were in abundance now, as there was no ground except the crystallic surface. Light shone from the planet's core, creating a long shadow above Vecto as he approached Vic's lab. He mused at how Vic would react to his return.

He walked by crystallic carbon ice pillars that melted upon his presence and came to the enormous silver door of Vic's facility. The holographic image of a robot's head formed in front of the massive, silver door, followed by a mechanical voice.

"Identify yourself," it commanded.

"Vecto Botland," Vecto simply replied.

The image flickered and yet another holograph popped out. It was an eye, which upon release scanned Vecto.

"You're appearance is that of a human, but our scans indicate otherwise," the voice said.

Vecto dropped his image to reveal his orb surrounded by mud.

The robot continued. "Match approved. We have anticipated your arrival."

Vecto found his statement unsettling. He waited, but the door didn't budge. Instead, the soft, whistle sound of teleportation surrounded him. Dozens of robots were teleported outside, and they weren't the welcoming committee.

"It would be unwise if you seek to battle," Vecto stated, hovering his orb to the center as robots shuffled around. He created another false image, this time a replica of the bulky, one-piece body Gyro created for him. "I'd suggest you let me in. Otherwise, Vic would have plenty of recyclable materials."

The lead robot, identified by a red stripe across its black body, stepped out from the crowd. "You are classified as dangerous by the Acaterran government and, therefore, we must take necessary precautions."

Vecto would have laughed. These weren't even the Botland series robots. They were Peril series fighters. Even with one hundred eighteen of them surrounding him, Vecto saw no immediate threat.

"Take your best shot," Vecto teased.

The lead bot formed a ball of energy in his gun as he zipped by. His hand emerged from the large cylinder gun nozzle, grasping the energy and slamming it into Vecto's shielded head. Vecto simply grabbed its arm, twisted it until metal shards spattered in the air, then yanked it, letting the robot's body fly by and dig into the crystallic surface. The other robots remained still, with guns pointed at him as Vecto reached down to grab the remains of their leader. He lifted the limp body in front of him and kept it there as its head slowly melted from Vecto's shields.
