Hi guys! There's just one thing I want to say before anything else; this was definitely the most fun I've had judging so far. All the plots were so good, my prompt was pretty simple, but you all made it so complex, yet simple. Interesting and easy to follow. Some really stood out to me, especially first place!
1st - DreamBig98 this was new! I have never-ever- seen something like this, it all fit, ran smoothly and was so imaginative!
2nd- photographybook well done! I really liked this one. Really really liked this one. Really, I did.
3rd - johannahefer This was. Wow. It was so deep, the plot just rolled out, no confusion. Which a lot of writers struggle to do!
Honourable mention-
Now, what you have been waiting for. The next contests! This one is odd, and I hope you can all make the best of it. It's called '55 Word Story.' The title pretty much explains itself. The only rules; 55 words only, exactly 55 words. It can be about anything, anyone, anywhere, anytime, any genre. It still has to be PMmed to me, (Caitlin_67 ) which is all good and you've all been doing.
I have actually done an example because it's quick, fun, easy and helpful:
1 'Grr'
I put my paw infront of me, my claws out and ready to attack. I growled, my hackles raising. I took a threatening step forward. I hissed a high pitch warning alarm, my cat instincts kicking in. The other cat wasn't going to back down. I pounced...
My owner laughed, I headbutted the mirror again.
2 'Mystery Man'The man at the bar wore dark clothes. He ignored every one in the pub, and constantly asked the bartender if someone was waiting for him. They said no. So he pulled his hat down. "They're here""Daddy! " he turned around and ran forward cuddling the young child. He held the boys hand and exited.
3 'Invasion'
I watched the aliens come in from afar. I cocked my gun, but it was too late. I was going to lose this war. Screaming I shot randomly at the aliens. They rushed towards me, blood shot everywhere. 'Game Over' appeared on the screen, my brother laughed."I told you I was better than you"
