16 year old Derek walks in the hospital. He needed to check up with one of his friends. He sees a little boy, probably 10 years old. The boy is sad. Next to the boy is a man with an uniform. Probably a deputy. Derek sits next to the boy. The boy looks at Derek with sad eyes.
The man stand up. "I'm going to get coffee, do you want something Stiles?" He ask the little boy, Stiles. "No dad" the man nods and walks away.
"Are you okay?" Stiles looks at Derek. "No" Stiles looks at his hands. He looks at the door where his mom is. There were a lot of doctors and Stiles and his dad needed to leave the room.
A woman walks out of her room and sits next to Stiles. Her name tag says 'Melissa McCall'. "Hey Stiles" he looks up. "You need to say goodbye to your mom" Stiles nods. "Why goodbye and not just bye?" He asks. "She is going to a better place." "She is going to die?" Melissa nods. "I'm sorry Stiles" He starts to cry.
Stiles and the nurse walk to the room. Derek can hear the boy talk to his mom. He hears the boy cry. Derek feels weird. It hurts to hear the human boy cry.
Stiles walks back. Tears on his cheek. He looks for his dad, but his dad isn't there. Stiles starts to cry harder. Derek pulls the ten year old in a hug. "Hey, it's going to be okay"
The man sees his son in the arms of a teenage boy. "What is going on?" Derek looks up. "Mom is dead" Stiles looks at his dad. His dad looks shocked. "Claudia!" He runs in the room.
"What is your name?" Stiles asks Derek. "I'm Derek" Stiles smiles.
