I was pissed at the simple fact that he just wouldn't tell me what happened, he decided to ignore the question no matter how many times I repeated it to him.
I scrubbed his body more seeing that he had more cuts on his body that I hadn't treated last night. I am going to help him heal but besides that I'm not talking to him.
"You can't be mad at me forever" he told me as his wet hand came up and ran through my curls making me scrunch up my face and move his hand.
I still said nothing to him but continued to wash the dry and new blood.
"Come on Lucy I'm sorry" he told me but I just began to hum.
I hummed the Korean song eternity by Kangta, my mother used to sing it to me on our visits when I was younger.
I sighed at the thought of my baby going through the same things I did and then my tears began to whelm up in my eyes, I threw the rag at Jahseh's body.
"Get it together" I told him before I walked out of the bathroom, sitting on the bed as I began to cry.
It makes no sense for a child to have to go through the things I did when both of their parents are alive and doing well but instead being forced into group homes until being handed to their aunt who had enough on her head.
"Talk to me, what's wrong?" Jah spoke, sitting beside me in only a towel while I wiped my eyes.
"My baby is not going to grow up like I did and definitely not worse so we have to have everything together now Jah, if we don't have it together right now it won't all be right by the time that the baby gets here" I told him and he sighed, nodding.
"I understand that Lucy but it was only one throw off that doesn't mean that they will be more or even that everything won't be ready for our baby" he told me and I just shook my head.
"Nine months isn't a long time to get ready" I told him and agreed.
"But you know you guys are my main focus, the guys that did that to me last night are being handled and soon I'll start just do my music from here okay?" He asked me and I nodded, wiping my eyes.
He smiled at me and kissed my forehead before getting up and getting dressed he then laid back in bed and pulled me closer to him.
"How was your childhood Jahseh?" I asked him and he glanced down at me, sighing.
He then shook his head "I'd rather not talk about it, that's the past and that's where it should stay."
(A/N fun fact I didn't have a childhood I was too busy raising my mothers kids for her😘)
I nodded at him, respecting that he didn't want to talk about it "okay."
