"Who are you texting, love?" Marcus smirks at me, and I roll my eyes and put down my phone. I'm not texting anyone. I'm frustrated over how much shit these guys can talk in one day in a group chat. Trust me, sometimes it's fun, and Theo Nott is hilarious. But sometimes I remember why I bloody hate them.

"My mom," they both nod slowly, and I look down at my pen. I know I shouldn't lie to my best friends like this, especially not Adrian, since he has done everything for me. But I will tell him one day, just not today. Adrian stares at me with a weird face, and I force a smile. I wonder what I would do without him.

"So, is your mom like a milf? She has to be." Marcus says, and Adrian hits him as I laugh. My mom is definitely gorgeous, but a milf? Not even sure I was supposed to call her that.

"You'd be one dais, that's for sure." Adrian rolls his eyes at Marcus flirting, and I smile.
