You came home after a tiring day of classes and didn't remember most of what your teacher said, but you only cared about getting off the bus, going to bed and taking a long nap.

While waiting for the lift, your sister arrived out of nowhere. You gave Grace the address for emergencies only and she asked you not to tell anyone she was here, so you were shocked she turned up out of the blue.

Without waiting for a question, she told you she was here to pick up Tyler.

"He's here?" You asked, hurrying into the elevator with her. The door closes and Grace pressed the button and turned to you, smiling.

"Yeah, your boyfriends watching him"

"Hold on! You met Matt?"

"I think it's about time" She shrugged. "I came by to apologise for causing a fight between you two. Tyler asked to come along, and you weren't home, and I had to run errands. Matt told me to leave him there with him"

"You do realise you left your kid with another kid, right?" You laughed. "Matt can't babysit. Last time we did, he got bullied by the kids"

Grace laughed and shook her head. "That can't be true. He's great with Tyler. He's more like a father than Tyler's father was"

You loved it when people complimented Matt, your Matt. You were proud to have a boyfriend like him.

"Is everything okay between you two?"

"Yeah..I think"

That wasn't a lie. But it wasn't the truth either.

"I don't want us to break up, but I need more time to forgive you completely" you told him the morning after the argument and Matt respected your decision. You loved him so much, but that didn't mean you could shake off this unsettling feeling you had.

When Matt swore he didn't cheat, you believed him. But he knew what he was doing would hurt you and he did it anyway.

"You can't blame him. It's your fault too!" Grace rolled her eyes when the elevator doors opened. "You shut him out"

"You told me not to tell him"

"Now you're blaming everyone but yourself!"

"Why are you defending my boyfriend? I'm your sister!" You huffed, looking for your keys.

"I mean it was childish, but Matt did what he did because he wanted your attention and when he saw he made a mistake, he came back home to see you. He could've crashed and all you cared about was him going to see his ex. I can't be on your side with this"

You turned the key and opened the door to the apartment.

"Wait here, I'll go get them"

You and Matt said your goodbyes to your sister and your nephew. Though Tyler begged his Mom to let him stay, Grace said no. She knew you and Matt had stuff to take care of and it would be better if you were left alone.

"So..." you trailed off, closing the door. "Uncle Matt, huh?"

"Are you going to make fun of me?" He rolled his eyes and you laughed.

"No" you shook your head, walked towards him and wrapped your arms around his waist.

"I would never"

Matt felt great and you had no idea. The fact he hadn't held you for days was irritating. He missed you a lot.

"Am I forgiven?" He asked and you kissed his lips.
