I can’t stop looking at every little thing on this island. I’m trying to understand the water flow situation. Maybe there are underground tunnels pumping the water, working like a gravity fed water pump? There’s a dense mist for a quarter of a mile around the island. There’s some type of barrier keeping the area drier, pleasant, and keeping out the northern waterfall's roar.

I don’t know what it is about this world, but the waters keep giving off musical sounds. Are the stones acting as prongs like a music box? It’s sweet water here. There’s no sugar in it. I suspect they are flavored by the edible plants. I’ve seen many of these in Faemála’s Realm. I can’t take plant samples or seeds of the unknown plants without consent from the En’rux’kulu. They only grow in holy places.

Blue spruce colored palm-edged elephant ear (colocasia) type plants are scattered in small chains. Especially near the water’s edge. Crimson campsis/strelitzia type flowers grow in clusters of thick ivy at the base of the plants. Tendrils of ivy grow outward, creating new clusters. Deep emerald moss grows between the cobblestones on the paths. Lilies that grow in Faemála’s Realm and shimmering sapphire peony-rose stemmed flowers line the paths in most sections.

White flowered ivy droops from tree branches like Spanish moss. The trees are a flowering willow. The blooms range from a silvery-white to deep blue-purple. Boulders large enough to sit on are covered in the delicious ivy Tavi showed me. I’m definitely making a cup of tea with it! Large evergreen type trees with silver-red blooms form a nearly solid wall in a semi-circle in the northern part of the island.

There are at least another 50 species of plants scattered in stunning natural groupings on the island. Aside from the greenery, none of the plants are yellow toned. It has a twilight-hour feel. A few other people of various races are here. They wave and look at our company curiously. We have multiple races. Several are considered enemies of most races here.

“Tavirian!” A deep voice with what I would describe as a slight Gaelic accent makes me jump. Sif and Lía have been ordering everyone to set up camp in a clearing edged in the moon flower-type plants Faemála has. Tavi snaps the last piece of our tent into place before turning with a huge grin.

“Gálbard!” They clasp shoulders. “How have you been, old friend? It has been too long.”

“Ach! It ‘as been exactly t’e exact time we t’ought. I been well. Still lookin’ fer my woman.” He shakes his head. There’s a hidden sadness in his eyes, but I can’t help but smile. He’s a red-haired gamádír standing at about 4’5”. Gálbard stands on a boulder to see eye-to-eye with Tavi. They’re supposed to be enemies, but they get along as two friends and nothing less.

“I hope you find her soon. Come inside and have some tea. We can talk.” He has Gálbard enter before coming for me. The surprise on his face seeing Tavi carry me in is expected. His eyes sparkle when Tavi sits me on my force tiesh lounge, kissing my head and nose before getting us tea.

“It seems ye’ found yer hayati finally. Nice ta meet ya, little lady. Hope t’e giant hadn’t been terrible. ‘E likes ‘is short jokes.” He pauses before looking a Tavi. “Wait, can the lady understand us?” Tavi laughs.

“She can, but it’s a secret.” Now Gálbard looks confused.

“My life is in danger. People in the kingdom want me dead to put that golden witch in my position. That, and I’m suffering portal damage.” He looks shocked.

“Well farst off, ye seem strong and ya 'ave a lovely voice. T’e boy lucked out wit’ ya.” He winks. I laugh. Tavi chuckles and shakes his head. It seems his friend is a sweet talker. “I’m not understandin’ t’e partle damage t’ough.” I look to Tavi. He nods his head.
