Freen's POV

In the cozy ambiance of the business event's snack bar, I found myself sipping a cup of coffee, taking a moment to recharge amidst the vibrant energy.

As I stood there, a lady approached with a confident stride, a warm smile playing on her lips.

"Hi there gorgeous. Your speech was truly captivating. I'm Davika, by the way, CEO of Hoorne Hotels and Resors. Your insights really hit home for me." She introduced herself gesturing for me to kiss her hand, as if a princess.

I grabbed her hand and motioned for a handshake instead. "Thank you, I appreciate it. I am Freen CEO of Chankimha Group of Companies."

"Your approach to sustainable business practices aligns with what we envision for Hoorne Hotels. How about we delve into potential collaborations? Freen, you've got that spark for a CEO I think a partnership with you will be exciting." Davika's eyes sparkled, her tone taking on a flirtatious undertone.

I replied with a good-natured smile, "Davika, I'm flattered by the offer. How about we schedule a dedicated meeting to discuss collaborations in detail? That way, we can focus on the exciting opportunities without any distractions."

Davika's playful demeanor persisted. Her eyes twinkled, and she leaned in, a tad too close. "A meeting it is, then. But what if I told you that dinner is where business gets spicy? Let's mix business with pleasure, Freen. Dinner. Tonight. My treat. And who knows, we might stumble upon some groundbreaking ideas." Her fingers traced a bold path along my arm, leaving me slightly stunned.

I chuckled, trying to keep things light. "While I'm flattered, I must say that I am happily taken by my gorgeous girlfriend and I'm so in love with her. So, let's stick to the meeting script, minus the candlelight and spice."

Undeterred, Davika shrugged with a mischievous grin, "Fair play, Freen. But remember, I'm not one to give up easily. Let's make that meeting unforgettable, and who knows what might happen next time?" She left her calling card in the table and departed.

As we parted ways, I couldn't help but be amazed by Davika's bold approach, leaving me pondering whether she approached all her business prospects with such charisma and flair.

Whether it's a deliberate strategy or simply her inclination for flirtation, I chose not to engage with her on a personal level. I discreetly tucked her card under a tissue and casually throw it aside.

"Why throw it?" a familiar voice jolted me from my thoughts.

"Rebecca? Why are you here?" I asked my girlfriend.

"My father asked me to attend the event since I am near the area, and I got no classes. I knew you were here, and I wanted to surprise you. But I guess I was the one who got more surprised. No matter where you go, you seem to attract attention," she said, a playful yet teasing tone in her voice.

I couldn't help but grin at Rebecca's remarks. "Well, I can explain. This lady..."

"I heard it all, baby," she interrupted me.

Rebecca chuckled, "I never doubted you, Babe. But it's entertaining to see someone else trying to make a move when you're already off the market."

"You were just listening all along, huh!" I said, wrapping my arm around her. "I'm glad you find it entertaining."

"Yeah," she giggled and wrapped her hands around my neck. "So, you're in love, huh?"

I looked into her eyes and smiled, " Absolutely, head over heels! And it's the best kind of love because it's with you."
