Book 2: So, this is Forever

23 – My darling Sam

Becky found herself immersed in the captivating world of the Forever Jewelries photoshoot. The atmosphere buzzed with creative energy as the new team of photographers showcased their prowess in capturing the essence of the brand. She couldn't help but express her admiration to the marketing manager, acknowledging the team's creativity and their willingness to explore new ideas for presenting products and poses for models.

"Trisha, have you seen how the new team is approaching the shots? It's quite impressive. I love their creativity and how they're pushing the boundaries with the models and jewelry poses," Becky remarked with genuine excitement.

"I completely agree, madam. They're bringing a fresh perspective, and it adds a dynamic element to the entire campaign. It's a positive deviation from the usual," Trisha responded, aligning with Becky's observations.

Becky's nod signaled both approval and keen observation, as she delved into the intricacies of the photoshoot. Her attention to detail highlighted her commitment to ensuring the success of the campaign. However, her enthusiasm was momentarily interrupted when her phone rang, signaling an incoming call from her wife, Freen. The name on the screen brought an immediate smile to Becky's face, temporarily redirecting her focus.

"Excuse me, Trisha. I have to take this. It's Freen," Becky said with a smile, signaling her intent to answer the call.

"Of course, madam. Take your time," Trisha replied, understanding the importance of personal calls.

"Hi, Babe, are you in your office at Forever Jewelries?" Freen's voice inquired on the other end.

"No, baby. I'm at the photoshoot for the new collection. I'll be heading home after this. Why?" Becky responded.

A slight pause preceded Freen's next words. "Oh, I just arrived in New York. I was thinking of seeing you before I go to the bar."

"Bar?" Becky asked, intrigued.

"Yes, babe, the bar I co-own. I need to go because my other partner will be leaving the next day, and we need to meet. I guess I'll see you at home later," Freen explained.

"If you want, I can meet you there and wait for you to finish your meeting?" Becky offered.

"Nah! No need, baby. It might take time, and I'll be done by the evening. I'll see you at home. Love you," Freen reassured with warmth in her voice.

"Love you too. See you later." Becky replied before ending the call.

As she returned to the photoshoot, the subtle excitement within Becky became palpable. Her marketing manager, sensing the change, inquired about her well-being.

"Everything okay, madam?" Trisha asked.

"More than okay. My wife just arrived from her business trip," Becky replied with a grin.

The marketing manager smiled, sharing in Becky's happiness. "That's wonderful news, madam. You seem excited."

"I am." She looked around as if checking. "You know what, I think everyone is doing a good job, and I think you got this, Trisha. So, I'll be leaving now."

"Oh!" Trisha, the manager, was startled with the sudden twist of plan. "Yeah, I got it. Be with Ms. Freen." She winked at Becky.

"I will. I'll surprise her." Becky gathered her things and walked to the elevator, a spring in her step and anticipation in her heart. The unexpected joy of reuniting with Freen added a special touch to the day.
