Chapter 2 ~ Mystic Falls, Here Is One More Member For Your Supernatural Club.

~Amelia's POV~

I arrived at Mystic Falls in the afternoon. It was a medium sized town and I could not understand why I had come here. Klaus was off hunting Katerina and trying to break the curse. After trying to contact Klaus unsuccessfully for 5 times I made a mental note to inform him about my current situation. We always made it a point to know where the other person was in case of emergencies or trouble. Now he had his cell phone switched off.

I parked my car in front of a magnificent 2 floor house and compelled the owner to move out. In the next two hours the house was under my name and there was no sign of any belongings of the previous owner except for some furniture. I got the suitcases out of my car and chose a room for myself which had a walk in closet and an en suite. I arranged all my clothes and shoes in the closet and I decided to go around the town to look for the thing that brought me here.

I got in my car and made my way to a place called Mystic Grill. I went towards the bar and compelled the bartender for some beer when he asked for ID.

I turned in my seat and saw someone unexpected walk in.

Katerina Petrova.

Was it her that bought me to this town? I have to tell Klaus about this.

When she spotted me her eyes held no fear what so ever. I was surprised. She walked over to the bar and her scent drifted my way. I realized with a shock that she was human.

This can't be possible. There was no way she could have turned human. Then it only meant that she was a doppelganger. I was dumbfounded after I made the connection. Klaus and I believed that she had no family left. Klaus made sure of that. She noticed my stare and she looked a bit scared and nervous.

She approached me and asked, "Do you need something?"

I replied, "No. you just remind me of someone."

She nodded her head and walked away taking out her phone. I heard the sound of buttons being clicked and thought that she might have texted someone. She made her way outside the bar and I put down my glass and followed her in search for some answers.

Outside I followed her from a distance. She entered into a dark alley and turned around. She said out loud, "I know that you are following me. What do you want from me?" She made it sound as if it was every day that someone followed her.

I made myself known and asked her, "Who are you?"

She replied looking confused, "My name is Elena Gilbert."

I was pushed against a wall by a guy in the few moments I was lost in thought.

I looked at him amused. Did this guy really think he could take me down?

I asked him with a smirk on my face, "Do you really think you can take me down?"

Without warning I reversed our positions. I held him up by his throat against the opposite wall. I noticed that another guy had joined the doppelganger. This guy I definitely knew. He was Stefan Salvatore a well known ripper and a old friend. He used to accompany me and my siblings when we were in Chicago.

I noticed that unlike me, the guy I held was actually struggling and trying to break free. Oh he had no hope. I was almost a thousand years old and was a hybrid as well. He was probably a century old.

"Please don't hurt him." Elena cried out.

I dropped the guy to the ground and walked over to Stefan and Elena. Stefan put Elena behind him who had a worried expression on her face.
