Chapter 8

(Y/n) was in the middle of getting ready for her first day at U.A high. She couldn't help but feel super happy. Her dreams were coming true! She now has a new chapter to write and to hopefully succeed and get into her hero career. She put on her U.A uniform and styled her hair into a side fishtail braid.

She couldn't help but remember when she told the news to her friends.

*~Two days ago~*

(Y/n) texted her friends saying she got in. First she told Uraraka which she leaped with joy at the text.

Next was the red spikes boy who told her his name was Eijiro he was happy as well. Then Bakugo. He was mad and wouldn't admit it, but he was very happy too. He was a little mad that she was one point behind him. But that's his ego. Deep inside of him, he was overwhelmed with joy that his friend. Best friend. Got into U.A with him.

After that. Was Izuku. He was slightly worried for her. She hadn't texted him nor talked.

But the day before he would go to U.A. (Y/n) rung the apartment door bell. As he opened it, (Y/n) wrapped him into a big bear hug. He was shocked at first and almost fell over.

"I go to in! I got in Izuku! We will be heros together!" She said between happy sobs. It was getting his shirt wet, but he didn't care. He couldn't help but form the biggest smile. He had a small tear roll down his cheek too. His best friend was finally gonna achieve her dreams.

He swept her off her feet and twirled her around. She squealed with delight and she laughed. He laughed with her. Inko was watching them and couldn't help but smile at the two. She was so glad that he met (Y/n). She changed his life. And she loved seeing them happy together.

*~Back to present time~*

As (Y/n) made the tie around her neck and grabbed her (f/c) backpack and headed downstairs. Her dad made sure that he would go to work a bit later today so he could see his sunshine go and achieve her dreams. He was in the middle of making himself coffee for himself. He saw (Y/n) walking down in her uniform ready to go.

She walked over to where he was in the kitchen. He made her toast and eggs for breakfast. She walked over to the island table and started to munch on her toast.

"So pumpkin, you ready for U.A?" He said turned to meet her gaze. She smiled and nodd d her head vigorously at him. "I'm so excited! I cannot wait to go! I'm gonna achieve my dreams and keep my promise to mom."

He smiled. "You are so much like her." He whispered her way. (Y/n) stopped eating her toast and swallowed. She looked at him and saw a bit of sadness in his eyes. She frowned.

"She would be so proud of you." He said smiling. He tried very hard to not let his tears that threatened to spill from his eyes. And it worked.

"I miss her. So much." (Y/n) said at she looked at a small photo on the counter. It was her mother in a hospital holding (Y/n) when she was first born. Her dad was the one who took the picture. (M/n) was asleep while holding (Y/n) who was also sleeping.

"She is always with us you know? I always know when she is here." He looked up a little. (Y/n) raised her brow a bit. "How?" She asked.

He smiled at her. "It's...its like a, warm feeling you get in your chest. And you feel them. It's hard to explain but, you just do."

Maybe her mom was with her right now. (Y/n) closed her eyes. Waiting for the certain warm feeling in her chest to come. At first there was nothing. But then, she felt it. She gasped slightly, her father smiling. She feels it. She feels her. Her mother is here.
