when you and the boys became ghosts, it didnt seem too bad at first.

you got to poof wherever you wanted to, see anyone you wanted to, and even meet julie. the girl who was shy but extremely talented. watching the boys help her break out of her shell and realize the talent she had was so fulfilling, and you and julie became so close. she was almost like... a younger sister.

but, right after the band started to get big, you noticed something.

you were in no way a selfish person, and loved the boys and julie dearly. but, as the parties at julie's house turned into legit gigs, the boys could be found hanging out and rehearsing with julie much more than just chilling with you like they used to. and, if you were honest, it was bothering you.

"hey!" luke said as him and the boys brushed past you as you entered the molina garage, "gig with julie!!"

you turned around as they all shuffled past you, "i thought it was movie night?" you asked, lifting up the popcorn, ice cream, and multiple movie choices that were perfectly balanced in your arms.

"sorry!" alex said over his shoulder, "next time, promise!"

they had said that last friday.

but, you supported the boys and loved them like brothers, so all you did was sigh and plop yourself down on the couch. you opened the tub of chocolate ice cream, and decided the wall was better entertainment than any of the movies sitting next to you.

"oh." a voice startled you from the garage door, it was julie, "sorry," she spoke softly, "i just needed my jacket." she walked over to the chair where her leather jacket was draped upon.

she curled her fingers around her jacket, but continued to stare at you, "its friday." she sighed in recognition, "movie night." you forced a smile and nodded, "im so sorry, i didnt realize-"

"no, no. its ok." you said sincerely, "i understand." julie smiled and nodded, "i just miss them."

she returned the smile, nodding, and awkwardly turned around and left.

you knew it wasnt julie's fault, and didnt necessarily blame her. you were happy for her, in fact, and proud of all she and the boys had accomplished together. you just couldnt help feeling.... replaced, in a way.

the boys were your crew, your best friends. you had known them since diapers, and was known to be over hanging at one of their houses whenever you had free time. people joked that you were apart of the band, but you just loved their company. and they used to love yours.

but for now, ice cream was your best friend, and the blanket that you found in the loft helped you find some much needed rest. you would be here for them when they got back.

later, you were awoken by something shaking your shoulder. at first you jumped awake, not knowing who or what was next to you.

"whoa!" a voice, luke's, said, "its just me. just us." he looked over his shoulder, and reggie and alex stood behind him.

and they all had somber looks on their faces.

"what happened?" you blinked your eyes rapidly to wake you up, shifting yourself on the couch to sit up and help the boys with the problem, "was the gig okay?"

"it's not about the gig," alex said hesitantly. he dug his hands in his sweatpants pockets, looking over at the boys as he awkwardly rocked back on his heels, "actually, its been about the gigs for too long." you averted your eyes down to your lap, realizing what the conversation was about.

"julie talked to us, she was worried you were feeling left out, and we wouldnt blame you if you did." luke frowned.

"yeah, we've been complete jerks." reggie sighed.

you only nodded, finally meeting the boys gazes.

luke quickly grabbed a movie, holding it under his chin. it was clueless, one of your favorites, and he was smiling like a dork.

"movie night?" he said, now all the boys were smiling at you.

you just laughed, ruffling his hair, "sure, dorks."

"i'll get the ice cream!!" reggie exclaimed, running to the mini fridge.

alex plopped himself next to you on the couch, leaning over to put his head on your shoulder. luke got the movie started, and you smiled.

"thank you guys, this means a lot."

"of course," alex said, looking over to you, "we actually had a band meeting," he said professionally, "and have made movie nights on both mondays and fridays. and julie said she'd give us suggestions on new ones."

you smiled as reggie gave you a bowl of ice cream, "that sounds amazing."
