Y/n woke up in the middle of the night to hearing a constant tap on her door, she sighed holding her chest as it scared her. She wasn't having the best night at all and wanted to shut everyone out, but of course, there was always something that had to happen that screwed it all up. So, she pushed herself up and opened her bedroom door to see Heather, she looked at her shocked as her dad was passed out on the couch. She grabbed her wrist and pulled her in forcefully and closed it quietly,

"Heather? What the hell are you doing here?" Y/n asked in disbelief as she really didn't want to believe that Heather Nill was inside of her house. "You can't be here--"

"I had to see you," Heather cut her off which silenced Y/n entirely. She sighed and placed her hand in her hair leaning her elbow on the cupboard, she let out a small groan and looked at Heather waiting for her to continue, "I know, I know, but I can't sleep knowing that you're mad at me--"

"So, you pull this? Heather, you know he doesn't approve. He can hurt you--"

"I don't care."

"That's the thing! You don't care." Y/n quietly shouted at her as she moved in front of her, "And that makes me have to care for you as you don't even take care of yourself and that leaves me doing that as you hide it from everyone. You hide... and hide your pain--"

"That's my choice."

"Well, it's a pretty dumb one." Y/n protested as she looked quite tired and messed up; she was sweaty, her eyes looked drained as if everything got taken out of her and her eyebags showed more than ever as the street lmap outside dawned into the room with the moonlight highlighting Heather's face. "Because people need to know when something's going on so, they can fix it--"

"Tell yourself that!" Heather protested but Y/n placed her hand over her mouth as she heard her dad get up from the couch downstairs and make his way up each step. She sighed and looked at Heather slightly angered.

"In the cupboard." Y/n demanded quietly, Heather went in and Y/n closed the door, she laid down on her bed and pretended to be asleep as she went back to the position before as James walked in and stared her down, he walked over to her and sighed.

"I'll fix it. All of it. Just give me a month... I promise... it'll all be better." James whispered as Y/n felt tears bundle up in her eyes as she heard it all the time, James got up and left the room, Y/n let out a shaky breath and wiped her eyes, she waited for a few seconds and heard the front door open and close, meaning that he left. Y/n sighed and got up helping Heather out of the cupboard.

"Are you okay?" Heather asked as she placed her hands on either cheek of Y/n's, she rested her forehead against Y/n's as the tears threatened to fall and built up, she shut her eyes as a few fell down, Heather wiped them away. "I'm sorry, I thought I was helping--"

"You always say that, just go, okay?" Y/n told her, "If you want me to forgive you. Go." Y/n whispered to her as she grabbed Heather's wrist softly and dragged her out of the house that Y/n called home, when she went out, she saw Hunter, Natalie and Bishop all there coming out from behind a bush, she turned to Heather. "You seriously brought them?" Y/n protested angrily.

"We never left! In her defense." Hunter informed Y/n, she sighed as she pointed at him and then turned to him.

"Not. Helping!" Y/n angrilly shouted at him quietly as she lunged toward him, Heather and Natalie grabbed her before she could make an attack on Hunter as Bishop moved him back.
