--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n has been stressed out at Sunnyvale, as much as she hates it there is one huge perk about it. Samantha Fraser. Her girlfriend.

The two had been secretly dating for 3 months now and it started at the very start of summer and continued on from there, they hadn't had an argument yet as they were pretty on the same page about things. Both parents seeing them as friends. Both parents thinking that they are just friends as Sam's mother really likes Y/n, ignoring her emotional distress along with trauma that her mother had given the girl.

It was fun in games at first, both Y/n and Sam sneaking around and now it's simply become second-nature for the two girls. And it isn't toxic either, they hang-out on Monday's, Thursday's, Y/n might stay over at the weekend just depends. They are only in 4/7 classes together, so, it's not like they see each other every single day.

Yet as much as they were growing to like each other more and more, they were both glad that they weren't seeing each other every day as that could raise eyebrows, and they both had different friend-groups, Sam being a cheerleader and Y/n being part of band as well as the Sunnyvale's register club which was basically just the school newspaper.

She had always enjoyed it as writing/journalism was something that she deeply enjoyed.

She was in the meeting room alone writing on a ThinkPad 755CD that her grandad had given her as her last gift before he died.

The door opened when she saw her friend Josh:

"How're you always in here before me?" Josh asked letting out a small scoff,

"Now, now, a writer can never unleash their secrets." Y/n hummed out, Josh shook his head and sat down next to her.

"What're you writing?" Josh asked wearing his usual outfit, jeans that were cuffed at the bottom, a white t-shirt with a black zip-up over it.

"Nothing." Y/n bluntly replied.

"Mhmm, you always right the best stories, come on, talk to me." Josh said placing his hand over hers, she looked over at him confused.

"What're you doing?" Y/n asked.

"I'm not doing anything," he chuckled out, "I just want you to know that."

"Yeah, I do. I know that."

"Do you?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Mhmm..." Josh hummed out, "you sure? 'Cause if you knew that then why're you always alone—?"

"Because I like it, not let go of my hand." Y/n ordered in just a stern tone. Josh let go of her hand.

"Someone's in a bad mood—"

"No, you just put me in a bad mood." Y/n scoffed out.

"What did I do?" He asked placing a hand on Y/n's shoulder. Y/n moved back and hit his hand away,

"Josh, stop it! Honestly, what the fuck are you doing?" She spat at him.

"I'm not doing anything—"

"Clearly. You're making me uncomfortable." Y/n huffed out and grabbed her laptop getting up but Josh took it and set it down, he grabbed her hands.

"Don't you feel something towards us though?" He asked. Y/n laughed at this.

"What? No! We have friendship. That's it. I don't like you." Y/n said as she started to move away from him but Josh continued to move toward her.
