"No! I don't want to go." Y/n complained as she walked over to the bedroom, her zip up hoodie slightly flying up behind her as her footsteps were that rushed and intense.

"Come on, Y/n! It's your family! We'll get to see them! I'll get to meet them-"

"And that's exactly what I don't want! I don't want you to go see them!" Y/n protested, "They are manipulative, and so cruel! I can't and won't sit in a room with them." She continued to protest. Olivia stared her down which made Y/n move back slightly, her standing up more.

*Skip to when their on the plane*

"Thanks for realising that I'm right..." Olivia mumbled innocently, Y/n didn't even give her a second glance, nor pick up on her words. She was too invested in her book. "Y/n..." She whispered to her, Y/n looked up and over at her. Staring her down emotionless. "I'm sorry. But you know that I'm right." She said trying to convince the girl next to her who didn't say a word which worried Olivia, she knew that whenever Y/n went silent, it was bad. She knew that she had messed up but she had never even spoke to any of her family. No matter how much she tried to convince Y/n. She wouldn't budge, yet Olivia felt like it was only fair. If she got to meet her family, it was time that Olivia got to meet Y/n's family.

*2 hours into the flight*

Y/n hasn't said a word to me, I've been trying to talk to her but she either doesn't look at me or she just ignores me and stares me down emotionlessly. It continuously scared Olivia as she hoped that she could make it up to her, even though they felt like they were balanced, Y/n still managed to make Olivia feel so small compared to her. From her height to how much she worked out compared to Olivia. She simply seemed perfect. Perfect hair. Perfect teeth. Perfect smile. Perfect body. She simply was... perfect. And now she was having to show her the one thing that wasn't perfect. Her past.

Olivia and Y/n got their stuff and she had stopped reading, when they got to the arrival, Y/n saw a sign with her last name. Her whole family holding it and her little brother and her older sisters looking around intently as her parents seemed unbothered and simply wanted to leave.

"Over there." She said and pointed at the man which Olivia picked up on the nice-ish looking family, two older sisters, one little brother, her mom and dad. Olivia was ready to go over but Y/n stayed stuck there for at least a minute, Olivia watched confused, face furrowed and eyes narrowed trying to piece what was wrong, yet she was unreadable. Y/n took a quick breath and then she walked over. Yet whenever they referred to her, it'd always be the youngest as she was the youngest sister.

"It'll be fine." Olivia assured.

"Yeah, sure." Y/n mumbled back in reply, slight sarcasm in her tone. "Hey, buddy!" She called out which grabbed her little brother's attention. He ran over to her and Y/n went on her knees and once he got in arm distance, she picked him up while standing up and pulled him to his chest.

"Y/n!" He exclaimed, a huge smile on his face; Y/n moved him back yet held him close. He looked around 15-16 but something in Y/n seemed to bring out the child in him.

"Hey, little dude." She whispered to him smiling widely, she moved him down and pointed in Olivia's direction making him look at Olivia. "I want you to meet my girlfriend, Olivia. Olivia this is my little brother, Ethan." Y/n introduced; Olivia smiled.
