A/N: Reader x Sam, here we go!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n was running down the street, sprinting, her heart heaved out of her chest. Someone had been following her and once she arrived at her house, she ran inside and slammed the door shut. She locked it and started to lock all the windows and other ways inside the house. When she ran into her room; her girlfriend - Sam Fraser - was politely sitting on her bed.

"S-Sam..." She breathlessly let out, a cut on her cheek as she was limping wearing black jeans, small black boots, a black t-shirt with a red/yellow football shirt. Her chest was moving up and down. "what're you- what're you doing here?" She asked as she rushed over and locked her window.

"What's wrong? Why're you limping?" She asked worriedly. Y/n shook her head letting out a small grunt,

"I-It's nothing. Really... I-I'm fine..." She dismissed, "Are you okay?" she quickly asked placing her hands on Sam's waist, Sam nodded her head.

"Y-Yeah, yeah! Talk to me, sit down." She offered and Y/n nodded her head placing a kiss on her cheek and groaned as she laid down, she cried out in pain yet slowly stopped once she laid down fully, Sam rushed into the bathroom grabbing a cloth, she put hot water on it and got all of the water off, in case it dripped all over Y/n. She rushed over to her and placed it on her cheek, dabbing it over the cut. Y/n letting out struggled shriek, arching her back up as she felt so much pain in her body. "Shh, shh, it's okay. I'm here." Sam whispered to her as she continued to dab the hot water on the cut, she groaned and grabbed it chucking it away.

"N-Never... again..." She breathlessly let out, "I-I just want to sleep..." She complained as she went to turn around but let out another shriek, the pain in her sides felt like a stabbing wound pushing more and more against each other. Sam placed her hand on the cheek that didn't have a cut and looked at her worriedly.

"What can I do to help? Hospital-?"

"No. No, no, no. No hospitals." Y/n denied almost immediately, trying to breathe. Yet she felt like she couldn't as it was almost like it just got stuck in her throat.

"Do you need some water?" She asked, Y/n nodded her head.

"Water would be nice, just-just don't answer the door unless it's Deena or Kate or Simon, k?" She assured and Sam nodded her head before placing a kiss on her lips; it was almost as if everything went out the window, the world stopped, Y/n's mind completely forgot about how she just had to escape the homophobic jocks were chucking stones at her, kicking her, punching her, chasing after her. Everything. Disappeared. Faded out of her memory inthe small seconds of Sam's kiss.

Sam pulled away and rushed downstairs to get a water bottle, she rushed back upstairs and laid down next to Y/n, handing it over to her, she grabbed it forcing her eyes shut at the pain that she was having and sat up slightly, she opened it and started to chug it as it was the first thing she had to drink all day. She set it down and laid further down resting half of her body atop of Sam's. Sam wrapped her arms around her delicately.

"Is this okay?" Sam questioned, Y/n nodded.

"Oh, yeah... yeah, it's nice." She hummed out, shutting her eyes as she felt so tired.

"You okay? You tired?" Sam asked softly, Y/n nodded and moved herself atop of Sam and tucked her head in her neck, Sam grinned and moved her hand underneath her t-shirt as the other was giving her head scratches. "I'll be right here." She continued to say with a small grin on her face.

The two slowly fall asleep in each other's arms. The y/h/c (your hair colour) lying atop of the blonde haired girl seemed like one of her favourite ways to sleep as she always felt so comforted. Even when she felt a lone, she hoped that Sam would still be there for her. And she was. She was always going to be there. Truly.
